"Just stayed at the cabins and played here all week. 36 holes a day for an extremely reasonable rate. With 3 of us in an updated cabin it worked out to $78 a day, including golf with a power cart! Can't beat that considering the golf course and friendly staff. Park staff were very accommodating as we arrived after the gate was closed but we had access to our cabin and checked-in on the next morning, after our first round of golf. Pro shop staff was outstanding and by day 2 they knew we would be early and ready to go... The course was in excellent condition for early December and the greens were quick and true. Sand trap conditions were inconsistent from hole to hole but that's golf. Just need to adjust but it would be nice if the sand was the same; there was some significant differences. Local city has everything to offer the needy golfer from restaurants to shopping if need be. One thing I would add in the park is laundry facilities for long stays like ours but that is available in town. I would highly recommend both the golf and park for a 'stay and play' option."
