"We started off with Cedar Hill with Tanya (Had one lesson) and then she quit or was fired and we had another instructor, then we had Jessica, then Nancy and the communication was scattered. They stated they could book Fridays or Saturdays in September which I stated would be great, and so completed the registration form, sent in a check and didn't hear back. I contacted the number on the registration form just to double check who the instructor would be and that I had sent in the form, when Nancy replied that she was upset I had contacted Andrea and that "I was too much for Cedar Hill". I informed her I was apologetic and just wanted to know who to contact and who the instructor was and that my special needs daughter was looking forward to her lessons in September. Nancy stated she would go over the schedule and be my point of contact from now on, to which I thanked her and then a day later, received an email that they couldn't offer my daughter any lessons. This place is a hot mess of a business run by a bitter woman. I will be contacting an attorney about this and will not recommend this to anyone, much less someone with a daughter who was strung along for several months and promised lessons only to be dismissed because of the ego of one barn manager. Thanks but no thanks"

"Me Sorenson, I am saddened to see that you could be so critical of a training barn based on the incident of one unsupervised child! The property is private and there are signs stating so!! I am sorry that this child was unsupervised and sustained these results. It is unfair to judge a business because of this! I have been a parent of a rider here, a rider myself and now am an employee of Cedarhill.... actually for 26 years ! I know the owners and trainers and they are compassionate and kind people! I wish people would be more conscious of what they are writing! I hope you would come out and see the real Cedarhill farm and what a great legacy it has !!"

"It may come as a surprise to many of you but there is an unkempt, unprotected, high-voltage electric fence that runs along the side of the playground and soccer fields of Sandy Ridge Elementary School. The fence belongs to Cedarhill Farm whose property boarders the school. A child who attends Sandy Ridge, curiously found his way to the fence, was subsequently shocked and suffered multiple seizures. Unfortunately, when the owner of Cedarhill Farm was made aware and was asked to maintain the trees and update dilapidated signage, he clearly expressed that the safety of the children in our shared community is not his concern, nor his responsibility. If his response is an indication of the culture of Cedarhill Farm, we do not recommend them for your families."
