Reviews of Olde Beau Resort & Golf Club
"Played olde Beau for the first time today. Cant believe I only live an hour and 15 minutes away and have never played here. BEAUTIFUL property! Played as a single and had a 12:40 tee time. Got there an hour early and there was hardly anybody on the course so I hit some.balls and went off early. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were great. The greens are beautiful, bent grass whch is hard to find around this area. Firm but the ball checked up fine. Absolutely breathtaking views on the back nine! I will say some holes were a little gimmicky(17) with HUGE elevation changes but it's mountain golf so it kind of expected. It's actually a whole lot fun once you figure out what yardages to play to off the tee. You WILL lose a ball or two even if you're a good player playing it the first time. I'm a scratch golfer and lost two balls because I wasn't sure how much room I had on a few blind shots. Some markers giving the yardage to hazards and the end of the fairway would be really helpful on this course. A yardage book is a necessity. Can't wait to go back and play this course now that I know where all the trouble is. The par threes are beautiful and a lot of fun. Still can't believe I didn't see one other person there on an 80 degree day in November."
"Best course I've played at so far. The scenery is unmatched. If you're not a low handicap player, bring extra balls. If you're on the fence about playing here, just book it. You won't regret it."
"I have played Olde Beau a number of times now. It is one of my favorite courses in the state. The back 9 is especially challenging but absolutely breath-takingly scenic. The course is very well kept and taken care of. The pro-shop is nice and so is the staff. I can't recommend enough."
"Beautiful course with a lot of mountain views. Played about 10 times. The negatives are out of the 10 times I played, 9 were cart path only. The course is a mountain course. Its hilly and tough to walk. And in most cases the course isn't that wet with the exception of a couple holes. Golf courses are being way too strict on this cart path only policy. The second negative. The food was expensive and horrible. At least what i had. The bread was very stale. Other than that a fun course. Just allow carts in fairways."
"This is the most beautiful mountain course I have ever been to!! It’s got stunning views, very well maintained greens, challenging yet fun holes, extremely friendly staff, and most importantly, super cute bull dog logo everywhere! The price we got to play 18 holes was only $42 dollars. It’s worth every penny! Plus, the club house food was really tasty."
