Reviews of University Ford North
"I've been going to this dealership for over a year because of proximity. My wife purchased a vehicle through this dealership less than a year ago, and has gone for her complementary oil changes. Both of us have had the exact same experience. These people do not respect your time. Appointments mean nothing. You'll wait 3 hrs for an oil change. They don't even touch your vehicle until an 1hr after the appointment begins; when you should be leaving. They are dismissive when you question them about this. Save your time and money, and go elsewhere for service and sales."
"Schedule a mobile service and tech was on time. He performed service on my truck and was done quickly!! Will use University Ford for all my service needs!! Great people to deal with!! Customer service was the best I have had! Good job guys!!"
"There aren’t words to describe the awesome experience I had recently. Bob Snyder, salesman and Mr White, finance officer could not have served me any better. I told them my needs and they did not quit until those needs were met. They respected my time and even laughed at my jokes. LOL! The whole team and support staff at University Ford North were awesome!!!"
"BUYER BEWARE - Read to the end The car buying experience is great. The photos of the vehicles online will reel you in. The salesmen will charm you with the usual tactics: telling you about what your new vehicle is capable of, talking you through what a good decision you're making, getting you excited for the ride home... They do a great job of putting you in a vehicle that you think you're going to love for years to come. I drove about 8 hours round trip on January 21 of this year to purchase the truck that's being towed away in the photo: a 2017 Ford F150 Raptor. Because I travel a lot for work, this truck spent it's first month with me sitting in the garage. I returned home in late February, and that's when the trouble started. Big clouds of white smoke, chattering from the engine bay, check engine lights flashing, hard shifting, the list goes on. The photo was taken on March 13 when the truck's upper radiator hose burst during my 20 minute commute to the office, leaving me stranded. I was told to have it towed to a local dealership for diagnostics. By the end of the month, we had an answer. The truck I had paid over $30k for less than 60 days earlier was in need of $10k in repairs: $2,000 of engine work and an $8,000 transmission. I had been in constant contact with University Ford, but as soon as they heard those numbers, they became very hard to get ahold of. I talked to them about buying it back at cost, ignoring the money I had already spent in parts and repairs. I talked to Ford Customer Service about pressuring the dealership to return my calls and make it right. Unfortunately, I was left disappointed. They even refused to cover the diagnostic fees at my local dealership, putting me an additional $200 in the red. At this point, between the cost of repairs I had paid for myself, the payments, and the trade-in that the dealership beat me up on, I was already out of over $7,000. I had to stop the bleeding. I couldn't afford to add $10,000 of additional repair work on a truck I just bought, only to wonder what future issues might leave me stranded. University Ford had hung me out to dry and forced me to pick up the tab for every bit of the cost, on a vehicle that I had not even owned long enough to enjoy. I had to sell the truck at a loss because of the repair work it needed. I have never had a worse experience. Now I'm forced to borrow my brother's 20 year old Tahoe with over 220k miles to get to work, and I'm out of $10,000 hard-earned dollars. If I can help you by passing on a piece of advise from my experience, it would be to stay away from University Ford unless you have the money to drive your new vehicle off a cliff and buy another one tomorrow. Because that's basically what they did to me."
"The folks at University Ford North are the best in the business! We've purchased several vehicles for them over the years and they've always gotten us the best deal possible. They provide amazing customer service and always answer all of our questions. We will not purchase a vehicle from anywhere else!!"
