"Going here for 4 years. Love Dr. Sawyer, make sure you get proof of times for your well checks. I had 4:15 on my calendar for months. They said it was 3:45, it disappeared off MyChart (I got there at 4:02). I asked to see, if we were willing to wait, the Dr could fit us back in since it was just 15 mins ago and they said it’s a “no show”? The front desk didn’t even ask to see if it was possible. She is 4, all she needs is hight and weight and done. Smh. So we left and have to come BACK AGAIN in a couple months. I got a print out of the time this time."
"Front desk staff is so rude and difficult to work with. They talked to me like I was an idiot for asking about covid boosters. When I was finally able to schedule an appointment, they called me to cancel it because that dr isn’t accepting new patients (says otherwise on the website). The only 2 drs accepting new patients are not even board certified yet, which isn’t going to work for my child with an extremely long and complex medical history. Would give zero stars if I could."
"I took my 2 daughters here because it's "UNC" and closer to home. I have a 7 month old and a 13 year old. In March they didn't see my infant bc she had a fever. Now for the past week I've been calling everyday to get them a sick appointment as they ONLY schedule them day sick appointment (7am) . It's clear they have way more pts than they can handle, they never have a spot for either of my girls when there're sick! Talk about "where's a doctor when you need one!" First unc facility to disappoint me."
"Overall this pediatric center is good for just the regular routine checkups. When it come to sick day visit the front desk staff direct us to go to unc urgent care. But my point is when we have a primary pediatrician at this center why we have to take our child to urgent care. Urgent care charge us a fortune. I feel this is wrong on part of the system for not able to accommodate the sick day visit on their normal working days."
"I don’t recommend this practice. Vaccine reactions are not discussed with parents and my 11 day old baby was vaccinated without a full description of vaccine schedule, potential side effects and ended up in the ER for a few days. Additionally, they couldn’t schedule us for a 2 month visit until almost 2 weeks after my baby’s 2 month birthday and was told by the front desk that we will have to wait because the doctor is fully booked and we’re essentially scheduled as a walk-in/standby. We’ve seen all three doctors and I’ve been underwhelmed by my experiences there. Looking for another pediatrics office to establish care because “care” isn’t what is provided here."
