"They will overcharge you after you move out and they won’t even fix what they said you broke. Two years ago they took money out of my security deposit for a window I never opened, then charged the next tenant in my room for the same window and that person never opened it either! I’m gonna guess that they’re gonna keep doing this so they make $100 a year while never fixing the supposedly broken window. These apartments and the furniture are so old that it will break from regular wear and tear, then they will blame you for it. Rent keeps going up with no improvements to the property. The management is rude and unhelpful. DO NOT live here if at all possible."
"My student graduated and moved out last month. We started at UP and later moved to the Sevier Street location. For students who prefer a quieter environment, the Sevier Street location would be a great choice! Sevier St. are two bedroom apartments. I cannot recommend both locations highly enough! I only wish we would have found this place Freshman year. Donna, the manager, is the best! She is attentive to concerns/requests and always responds quickly with a solution. I felt that safety was her first priority at both apartment locations. The apts. are clean and well kept with no issues. The wood furniture is refinished as needed and Donna replaces flooring, furniture etc. when necessary. I was a little sad to say goodbye to this place for our now 'young professional!' Best wishes to all future students. You won't regret your choice to live here!"
"I lived here for a year and a half and I highly recommend these apartments for students. Donna is an amazing landlord! She has things fixed so quickly, even extremely minor things like a light bulb out. Often, someone would be there within 2 hours, if not within a day of the request. Very attentive to concerns. Apartments are thoroughly cleaned in between tenants. The exterior door and each bedroom door has a lock with code so that you don't have to worry about forgetting your keys, and you can lock your door if you're moving in with people you don't know. The other nice thing is that this is an individual lease, so you're only responsible for your rent, and not your roommates' rent. The apartment was about a 10-15 minute walk to most of my classes. 20 minute walk to the observatory which has a great view of the mountains at sunset. Yes, the walls are somewhat thin, and sometimes there were loud parties. But, this is a great place for students to live."
"Moved in last August and I`m honestly pretty disappointed. The walls here are VERY thin and due to the desks in each room serving as the wall itself ( ie, there is literally nothing but a 1/4 inch of plywood between your room and the room next to you), there is little to no privacy. For example, you can hear someone whispering or having a quiet phone conversation as if they were next to you. Unless you personally know everyone you will be rooming with, DO NOT move in as a random! If you are thinking of living on the ground floor, be prepared to deal with bugs, occasional street noise, and the garbage truck picking up the dumpster. Our apartment flooded 2 times in the span of a year as well!!! Also be aware that there are parties here (sometimes on school nights). Wifi signal is spotty depending on your apartment and often is inaccessible. The Apartment Manager Donna however is great! She tries to listen to your concerns and addresses them as soon as possible. Repairs have been done in a timely fashion. The location is relatively convenient to campus so its not necessary to need a parking pass. There is good parking available and has never been a problem. The fire pit is also nice for fires in the winter/fall. Overall, I would suggest to look elsewhere. If your moving in with friends, I`de say go it, but heed the warnings...."
"My daughter lived at the Sevier location and it was a great experience. Donna was timely in all email coorespondances. Any issues or repairs were handled promptly. Pretty quiet complex and my daughter never felt unsafe. Very convenient to campus."
