"Good school mostly good professors, but the things you don’t see when you’re applying places like how WKU’s overall boards and staffs handle things are terrible they show you exemptions for getting out of dorms and living somewhere else but somehow those exemptions just end in you getting charged 50% for the dorm anyways, there’s little things like if you lose your ID after 4pm or on the weekend you can’t get a new one and your dorm will punish you for signing in without it even if other dorms desk assistants are more understanding and don’t punish everyone else campus police are also there more for show than anything there were 3 break ins on the parking garage that sits on top of their police station so just take these things for what they are."
"The tour i had earlier this past summer at WKU was pretty cool."
"Was actually working this morning & for our first day, I can truthfully say I def stressed way too much over it bc it was totally not like I expected & I had fun & am ready to see how the next time is gonna go, it's lil different from today as today was lady topper game & next is hilltoppers so I expect it to be quite a bit more as far as crowd & we stay the whole time to direct them out afterwards as well. So it's gonna be a few more hrs also but that's prolly not an issue I'm sure. We can handle it, we can handle anything that we tackle as a team & I'm thankful I can say that. Enjoy working with my hubby, but countdown has begun bc he goes back to his regular job in April. But we can say that we felt welcome & def didn't have that weird 1st day feeling like a lot of places. They made us feel included & like they were glad we were there. It was a pleasant change. I hate starting a job & feeling like you are the only one that doesn't belong there. This was nothing like that at all & it was enjoyable."
"I visited the campus while staying in the area for the total solar eclipse in 2017. The campus was clean and safe. Internet searching showed that this was the only place in the US with white squirrels. I walked around the campus for 2 hours but only saw regular squirrels. Many students were not aware that this campus was known to have white squirrels and those who were aware said they never saw one. Just as I was about to give up, I spotted one by Potter Hall! See photos."
"The geography and geology programs here… The staff the faculty the students are top notch."
