"Last year I was on my way to my daughter’s appt which is a 35 min drive there and called to let them know I was running behind. The receptionist informed me if we were 15 mins or more later she could not be seen. We got there to check-in 12 mins past her appt. and was told the physician already informed them when we came that she could not be seen. They said they could reschedule her but she could not have the next appt. be changed at all and had to show or else she could no longer be seen as a patient. Later I received a promotion within my company and could not miss any training during that time which fell during her next appt. They did indeed refuse to see my daughter for any further appts. Thankfully her pediatrician is going to continue her treatment otherwise we would have to drive to Knoxville. If you are looking for a great pediatric Neurologist, I would recommend driving to Knoxville instead of dealing with this office. I have worked in the medical field off and on for 24 years now and have never left a negative review for any medical office which is saying something."
"My son 12 yrs (2 years) and daughter14 yrs (5 years) now. We see NP Amy and NP Wendy. Both these ladies have a super caring heart for kids. I have known Wendy 7 years she was my kids NP at our pediatric office. Gilda the check out lady is so sweet and so very helpful. I have never had an issue with anyone there. All their staff has been helpful and took great care of our kids. We now see the GI, a therapist, Nuro, and my son will see the lung dr there later in June. Yes their office furniture could use an update but we go there for the care of our kids."
"Providers have been mostly helpful. We have seen several, some are more personable and helpful than others. Staff is hit or miss. Nurses are great and caring. Office/reception staff can be difficult especially when trying to make an appointment that fits your schedule. They pretty much want to give you what they have and are not helpful in finding another. (i.e. we were called with a rescheduled appointment time, to which I explained that I would not be able to do and asked for another date. I was then told that I would have to cancel this appointment and start from 'scratch'. The provider had a 3 month wait..... And I thought, you all called me with a change from an appointment I already arranged around for something I cannot work with). Reception makes sure you know, that you are being a nuisance and inconvenience to them. In addition, they really need to address the conditions of their exam rooms. They are dirty, seats are torn, and in need of repair."
"Dr Anderson and his nurse and his eeg team are abosolutely amazing!!! I am extremely happy my son is in their care and i know he will be took great care of and answers will be givin. We have had superb expierences both times being seen by him and our stay in the childrens hospital was top notch. Looking forward to getting to know him and his team better!!"
"I wouldn't even give Anderson 1 star. He refuses to prescribe medication my grandson needs to survive. He belittles my daughter during every visit. This guy could care less if my grandson lives or dies! He's all about collecting your money and has ZERO empathy and ZERO desire to look out for the patients best interest. My daughter contacted him about braces for my grandson becausehis legs are turning in. The Dr's response was "I'm not going to prescribe those because he's never going to walk anyway"! Wow!+! I would highly recommend you take your child anywhere, but here!!! This guy should have his license taken away!!! I will be contacting the medical board about this, and I would highly recommend that anyone else that has been a victim of Andersons, do the same. Children in his care are going to die. We need to speak up!!!"
