"I have a son who is a double amputee that went here for opioid addiction. He started off dosing every day. Then every two weeks and eventually was going once a month. They changed the manufacturer of the medicine they prescribed. The medicine didn't work the same and he told them that. He requested that he be put on the list to see the Dr. And have his medicine called into a local pharmacy. They scheduled him a appointment to see the Dr. A few days before the appointment they called and said the DR. was retiring and not accepting new patients. Come to find out this was done to try to keep him dosing at their facility so they wouldn't lose the revenue from medicaid for dosing him. His counselor tried to find him some where else to find treatment and they did but then medicaid wouldn't pay for his medication, the same medication that they were paying this place to give him. Now he is stuck and in danger of relapsing. It's sad that they would let a patient leave all together to try and keep them getting revenue from dosing him. My son passed all his drug test and did everything they asked him to do. Was doing great then they changed the medicine they dispensed and instead of just seeing a doctor in house and having a prescription sent to a pharmacy. They threw up road blocks and said it wasn't possible. Now he could go back here but they will make him dose daily and start over we live 45 mins away and he has no ride to do that. not to mention its highly unfair to make him start over. Scared to death my son is going to give up on recovery. Thanks reflection of hope for taking hope away from him. It shouldnt be easier to get dope than it is to find the medication it takes to stay clean."
"I have nothing but nice things to say about Reflections of Hope. They helped me when I truly needed help,The staff has went above and beyond to help with my Addiction/Recovery needs,My counselor Leslie has been awesome and is always there letting me know she is there to always help me through anything. I am truly Grateful for this place bc I was at a place in my addiction where I seen no hope. ."
"I gotta say I do love this place now. They have nurses and some counselors who truly care. When I first came to this place, I gotta say, our living situation wasn't so good at all but throughout that year, Lisa was always there for my husband and I and my husband don't even come here to be dosed, he just takes me here. We went from no transportation, just walking, to riding our bikes from the middle of the two and also downtown just to get here and now we have a car. It's taken a while to regain some things we had lost at one point during Hurricane Florence. My husband is truly and always has been here for me along with most the staff. The past two and a half yrs, things have gotten so much better for my family and I. We succeeded in things I thought was impossible cause of our bad situation. Yes I have to admit At one point yes I was kinda afraid about coming here everyday cause I would be falsely accused of something I never did. This was two yrs ago. We are a family who only stays together and has chosen not chosen to befriend others cause of our past and the betrayal we got. We learned quickly we couldn't come here to make friends but only to communicate with the staff cause some patients would only be there to stab u in the back. They quickly found more caring staff and now it's better than it ever has been. There hasn't been any problems at all. I believe as long as u just come to dose and leave, then u definitely don't have anything to worry about. People should come with only intentions to get help and suceed in life. Your life is based on the choices u make guys! U can make it!"
"I've been to 3 different clinics, and this is by far the best one. It's facility is clean and the staff is incredible. They actually care about you and don't look at you like your just another addict. My counselor Lisa always goes above and beyond to make sure I am okay, along with the rest of the staff. I have never had a negative experience and I have been here for almost a year. Out of all the clinics in town, this is by far the best one."
"Really? They don't care about money?? Guess that's why there's a sign on the front door warning" if you don't pay you will be detox"..This was the best clinic in town but not anymore, it's gonna end up gross and nasty just like the rest of them (if they even stay open that long) Sorry Dr. Sampson, I know you tried but you gotta be careful of those people working there. When your best counselor leaves (Amy), and your best nurse resigns, (Ryan) I don't think there could be a big enough red flag...its sad but very very true"
