"We had a bit of an emergency and these folks got us in at a moments notice! They were genuinely caring and compassionate and took great care of my husband from start to finish!! Right down to the young lady working in the Port City Java who, when I asked for a suggestion of a cold sweet coffee, said “can I surprise you?” And made the most satisfying iced coffee ever!! "I had two procedures on March 9th; colonoscopy and endoscopy with Doctor Mastrangelo and his team. From the moment I walked into the lobby, I was treated very well ; from the ladies at front desk to the nurses I had excellent care. My team members were Rhonda, Deb, Felicia on prep. Also in procedure room Aileen, Deb and Anita were very professional, comforting and compassionate about caring for me. And lastly, Doctor Mastrangelo did an excellent job for me. He explained the entire procedures before and after procedure. He asked me if I had questions. I have to go back on March 30th and feel confident having Doctor Mastrangelo and going to Surgical Pavilion. Teresa Wilson"

"My son had to have a procedure done and I was beyond impressed with the facility. From check in to post op we were treated with nothing but kindness. My son received a sensory bag upon getting into his room which kept him busy and distracted while the nurses did what they needed to do. He was given a warm blanket and said hello to by every staff member who walked past the door. He was also even asked by a maintenance man if he was cold and if he needed to adjust the temperature in the room. THESE little things make all the difference when a child is nervous. This made his procedure flawless and calm. Nurses, amazing, pediatric anesthesiologist, amazing, doctors, amazing, post op staff, amazing. Absolutely anything we needed was offered to us. It's the night after my son's procedure and he can't stop talking about the nurses and staff and even asked if he could go back to Novant health to sleep just because he had such a good experience. Thank you for making a very stressful day much less stressful knowing our child was in amazing hands."
