"I had a return appt booked at this appt with Dr Andrea Crane today because I thought that the urologist that I seen before was at this same office. My mistake! However the office left me a vm and emailed me the morning of letting me know that they switched my appt in the system to a New Patient appt for the same time because they notice I booked a return appt. I missed the first call so I called back a hr prior to my appt and the lady at the front desk then confirmed again that they switched my appt to a new patient in the system and confirmed via phone that I could still come at 9:40 which is what was originally scheduled. Once I arrived at the office to check in, I was told that Dr. Crane could not see me today because she thought it was a return appt vs new patient after 2 employees at the office confirmed my new patient appt with me the morning of. I drove a hour to this location from my home and now having to drive a hour back after not being seen by the Dr. 2 hours of time wasted! Very unprofessional."

"I’m pleased with my Dr. The Dr has to have a staff that supports them with all the task required to get patients ready for surgery. Myself and many more are on blood thinners. The office staff has to contact heart drs to get complete instructions on how to stop blood thinners. In my case I had to bridge my meds. This was a nightmare. The Wakemed system needs to create a foolproof way that I and many more do not fall through the cracks and have their surgery postponed It’s the office staff that has to do this. The dr has to cure the patient."

"I had an emergency situation develop after surgery to remove a bladder stone. I drove to the North Raleigh location as that was the only one that I was told could help me. The nurses there were the absolute finest. They helped me get through this terrible mess. I was bleeding and in pain and they took great care of me. They were courteous, professional and nice beyond belief. I have never met better."

"Super unhappy and we have yet to even have our first appointment. Called to schedule my husband appointment end of February and the first available with our schedules was Mar 22. They called him a week later asking to move that appointment to 3/30/21 at 3 pm. They just called us today at 12 noon to cancel the appointment because the doctor is at another location. So inconsiderate and rude to cancel an appointment 3 hours before when we both took off work to be at this appointment. The receptionist did not seem sorry in the least bit. So you can cancel within 3 hours of the appointment but if I cancel within 24 hours I get charged a fee?!"

"After dealing with kidney stones four different times, I've finally found the urology practice I am sticking with going forward. Three days before my daughters wedding, I was having pain from a kidney stone that was too big to pass. I made a lot of calls explaining my situation but couldn't get an appointment for several weeks. I knew things would be different when a person answered the phone at Wake Med Urology. Dr. Becker was able to work me into her schedule that day, understanding my urgency in terms of discomfort and the wedding. I found her to be knowledgable and very personable... and the nursing and support staff reinforced that feeling from check-in to check-out. The following day I was in surgery and two days later I was walking my daughter down the aisle. I couldn't be more grateful. My post surgery follow ups have been equally pleasant and informative... I just can't say enough good things about Dr. Becker and her team."
