"Being bullied by a nurse and having it called "patient education" is truly unacceptable. A patient has the right to refuse anything. My nurse decided that after patient refusal, she would try to bully me about my decision. This happened for the duration of her being my in my presence which was extended. After I told her I was having a panic attack, she decided to continue to lecture me. On this day I was also having pain and asked if I could talk to the doctor about it, she then continued her attack. The justification I received was that it is "patient education" to berate someone in this way. Instead of talking to the doctor and being respectful, I received trauma. Noone should feel like they have to 'sit and take it' for fear that they won't be able to make sure their baby is okay. If you come here, you may not always have a nurse that is trauma informed who can respect your decisions and let the doctor make the final call. In fact, apparently it now called "patient education". If you have ptsd, anxiety etc. You may or may not have someone who is understanding or respectful of that. This has happened multiple times. Beware of nurse Jamie."
"Can definitely recommend this practice --Eryn Wells is my provider. Easy to make appointments, everyone in the office has always been welcoming and easy to speak with, and my provider is excellent."
"They really go above and beyond to make you feel cared for. I’ve never had such a great team of nurses and doctors that go above and beyond to make sure your needs are met. I absolutely recommend coming to this office for pregnancy and any other needs."
"If I could give it negative ten stars I would… every experience I have had with Duke Womens Health has been negative - but this this was the last time. Zero care. My concerns were entirely dismissed, with a “we did an ultrasound a year ago and it was normal, so what would you like to do”. I had to ASK the PA to look at the the last time I had an actual exam or Pap. Really disappointing. If you have any other options for a provider I would explore them."
"Doctor. Subhratha Merida. I recommend them 100%, they take time for each patient and make them feel like family!"
