"With a name like Tuscany Bistro, I expected more pasta dishes. Lunch menu has no pasta options. The kitchen was gracious enough to make me a bollanise. It was OK, more like a kids menu item rather than a thought out dish. Dinner menu has few pasta options and all have seafood in them. I ordered the shrimp with fettuccine minus the shrimp but still got charged the cost of the dish with the shrimp! The servers are pleasant and accommodating. Only reason I did not give service 5 stars is because of the charge for my fettuccine. I feel the server should have rung the charge up differently or asked a supervisor about it if she did not have any options. (We did not bring it to the attention of the restaurant at the time, it was a very busy holiday weekend). The atmosphere is very inviting. A piano player adds low-volume melody to the dinner experience. Candlelight, an outdoor porch bar and rustic chic decor give a wow! factor. My suggestion is to review the menu before you go, don"t get drawn in by the name and expect Italian fare. There are many tasty options, just not my taste."
"What a perfect gem of an Italian bistro in Pawleys. We had dinner there and were simply amazed with every course of our dinner. The food was excellent and the portions were a good size. The atmosphere was really nice with a piano playing , subtle lighting and excellent service. Jen, our waitress, was very friendly and attentive to our needs. I would highly recommend the bistro for a wonderful dinner."

"Tuscany bistro is a breath of fresh air in Pawleys Island. I have thoroughly enjoyed many lunches there. The mushroom ravioli with vodka sauce is incredible. They bring delicious crusty bread with olive oil to the table. I have never had a bad meal. Great place for a wonderful lunch or dinner."
"For the most part. I'd say this place is good for a meal. Although the Cesar salad was very disappointing. Barely could taste any dressing on it, would hope the presentation would be better, and another dining individual with me had ordered anchovies with theirs and only received a singular small anchovy. Entree was good and the torta dessert helped finish things off."
