"I do not recommend. My girlfriend had IM shot there for ketamine. They never told her about any fees (I guess because she had insurance). For me on the other hand they had charged an arm and a leg charging $200 for the consultation, $150 for an office visit and $350 for the IM ketamine. No discount for Veterans either! No monitor for the session (I was watching over my girlfriend myself. They just give you a shot then came back in an hour to check you and get vitals. To all the Veterans out there that need help, NC Awakenings as well as other places with free consultation and a 10% military/first responder discount. They also thoroughly explain about the whole ketamine process, the effects and how IV is more effective. It is also less expensive than Gupta IM shots. Me and my girlfriend will not be coming back."

"Writing this review on behalf of a friend without an account. They were recommended to this place by referral of PCP. This place has professional, empathetic, & knowledgeable staff. They drug test under the guise of testing for allergies to medication though, which is definitely not cool. Drug testing ADHD patients isn’t a good practice, IMO as they typically already are made to feel bad about stimulants & also avoid treatment for that reason. Anyway, outside of that, their Neuropsych testing seems up to date, & they don’t use it solely for diagnosis like other places, which is good. The evaluation was thorough and they explained things about medication and ADHD that many practitioners fail to do. They also make you complete an EKG in order to start/continue stimulants, FYI. The process for ADHD diagnosis is somewhat involved, but overall they had a good experience."
