"One of the reasons I left this pediatric office was due to very rude front desk people and few nurses. Me and my son had very bad experience with this male nurse (think his name was Mark). My son had to be tested with COVID and the way he treated my son was very rude and unprofessional. This nurse was literally making faces in front of me. There are other couple of female nurses who I think shouldn’t be nurses. I even thought of reporting them to NC board of nursing because they threatened my son to calm down….like how can a child calm down when he is threatened like that."

"We have been patients at Cornerstone for four years now, seeking care for both my toddler and my baby. It's been quite challenging to find a doctor's office that offers after-hours support and remains consistently available; this is precisely why we opted for Cornerstone. Among their several providers, we have interacted with all of them, but two doctors stand out as our preferred choices: Dr. Kalman and Dr. Baldwin. Unfortunately, the others did not seem as invested in our children's well-being beyond the scope of being patients. Dr. Kalman is undoubtedly an exceptional provider. Her approach involves taking the time to understand us, actively listening to our concerns, and formulating action plans. Her depth of knowledge is evident; for example, this past summer, when I had plans to travel abroad, she proactively suggested administering necessary vaccines to my baby ahead of time. She even researched the destination country to recommend appropriate vaccinations for my toddler, aimed at preventing water-borne illnesses and the like. Equally commendable is Dr. Baldwin, who possesses extensive knowledge, especially in managing my son's asthma. When Dr. Kalman isn't available, Dr. Baldwin becomes our go-to choice. I'd like to extend my recommendation to NP Robin and carmen as well. She consistently goes above and beyond, providing valuable insights and resources whenever I reach out with nursing-related questions. Her dedication and willingness to help are truly remarkable. Additionally, I'd like to highlight Savannah from the lactation department. She conducts thorough research to ensure the safety of substances while breastfeeding, offering practical guidance. In summary, I wholeheartedly award these individuals a five-star rating for their exceptional dedication and commitment to our family's well-being."

"I have been taking my child to Cornerstone for the past 10 years and I have never had such a terrible experience before. Dr. Gelber is a excellent doctor but they recently hired a male nurse Mike , who was very impatient with my child he has a short temper and scolded my child many times when she refuse to take the test , he scolded my child for wanted to use the restroom. He seemed to be in a rush and was just trying to finish his job as quickly as possible. My child was scared of the test and was looking for some reassurance, but instead , he scolded her which made her even more scared , finally he called in a female nurse who was much better with my child and was able to perform the test in 5 mins. We expect nurses to be more patient and polite to our kids they are already feeling low when they are sick and these type of behavior will make their health and mental health more worse . We expect Cornerstone to hire nurses who are good with kids or else they risk damaging their reputation."

"I had the WORST experience with the office manager at this doctor's office!!! My kids have been patients at CS for over ten years, and I have never received treatment like this before. Yesterday, I called to make an appointment for my son, and the receptionist informed me I could come in an hour later, but I wouldn't have been able to make it in time. We ended up scheduling the appointment for the following day. I had to call to see if I could reschedule for Monday, due to my son having a food drive at his school for Thanksgiving. The receptionist told me that I would have to call back on Monday to schedule that appointment. I didn't understand; just 15 hours earlier, I was able to schedule for the next day. I asked to speak to the manager. The manager came on the phone and told me that he has new staff, and they didn't do their jobs right by allowing me to make a next-day appointment. Since my son hasn't been seen since 2019, he is no longer considered a patient. I told him it was during COVID, and all his shots were up to date, so I understand this policy. He then said to stop cutting him off and that my kids are no longer patients there and to find somewhere else to go. I asked for his name, and he hung up on me. I can't believe CS is letting their business be run by people with poor training, running it into the ground. The sad part is the doctors are really nice and friendly."

"25 minute delay to see doctor, prescription called into wrong pharmacy, receptionist was very nasty when I called trying to find out why the pharmacy couldn’t find the prescription. Took 4 calls to the office to reach someone reasonable to determine the pharmacy was wrong, the other receptionist was just forwarding me to an answering service with 24 hr callback. My child is sick and the process to get him the meds to feel better has wasted a lot of my time today and added a lot of unnecessary frustration, can’t bring my child back to a place that doesn’t care about his wellness- ✌️"
