"this is the best obgyn if you are trying to get pregnant, Dr Erin Friggns , Dr Beth , Dr Nancy, Dr Buck are the best care doctors they have help me conceive for my past pregnancy with the proper treatment and care the best nurse to ask for is Tammy she is so great i love them all honestly ask a black american woman with a lighter skin tone i have not experience nothing but the best service and support here in im so happy in proud they clinic are just like family to me i love them from the bottom of my heart i recommend especially if you are trying to get pregnant Get ready because here you will get pregnant"
"I’ve been seeing Dr. Duncan for over a year now and have been very happy with him as a physician and the office as a whole. Dr. Duncan is knowledgeable and competent and I completely trust his medical advice. He even got me in quickly to see a specialist for a second opinion which I appreciated. The medical assistants and nursing staff are all friendly here as well. Always on time and I’ve never had to wait. I recommend Duke OBGYN North Duke St. Update: I’ve been a patient here for almost 3 years and still just as happy with them. I’m pregnant now so coming here quite often. It’s literally a 45 minute drive from my house and I will make the drive because I love the staff!"
"The level of neglect for patient care borders on medical malpractice. I will be documenting any further communication I have with this clinic, as I search for a more professional obgyn that takes patient care seriously. Details* The staff are rude, scheduling appointments/being seen for serious medical issues is next to impossible, and the doctor’s are reluctant treat patients with necessary care early on in pregnancy. The receptionist at the front desk with the strong southern accent and “Karen” hair is very rude and unhelpful. She needs to be fired. When I first called after a positive pregnancy test, she simply said that they don’t schedule appointments until 8wks, but didn’t even offer to schedule that appointment. When I called back later (through the terrible phone tree) and spoke to her again at 7wks, without even a greeting she said “We don’t schedule appointments before 8-10wks…” I explained that I needed to be seen because of my extreme nausea and vomiting, and then went through many more calls to finally get an appointment for my 8wk visit and to be seen for my vomiting. PATIENTS SHOULD NOT HAVE TO WORK THIS HARD TO GET MEDICAL TREATMENT. I have a history of hyperemesis gravidarum, which needs EARLY and AGGRESSIVE treatment. The office didn’t offer any intake forms or even a cost for the visit, when I said I was still waiting on Medicaid. They simply told me the financial woman wasn’t there today and they would bill me. I’ve never heard of a clinic whose front staff doesn’t have the ability to process the cost of a visit at that appointment. I was surprised how non-concerned the doctor behaved. She didn’t ask me for medical history questions or more in-depth questions about the severity of my nausea. It seemed that she made her assessment prior to even entering the room. I did a urine test, but she told me that I’m not “dehydrated” and don’t need IV fluids. No other tests were completed. Despite the presence of ketones. I have a history of kidney issues, and a current uti (confirmed by my emergency visit to my general doctor the day before and presence of ketones in that sample). I even asked the doctor to sign permission for me to seek IV treatment administered by a NP at a local hydration wellness center, and she refused. Saying that I would need to be worse and go through a hospital instead. They do not offer IV fluids at this clinic. This is REACTIVE, not RETROACTIVE care. My overall impression is that the doctor did not take me seriously, and that this clinic is not able to handle patients with more severe medical issues, like hyperemesis gravidarum. They refuse to see you before 8wks."
"I've been seeing Dr. Margeva Cole for years, and recently had an appointment with her. I was very pleased, as I have been in the past. She is knowledgeable, respectful, and efficient. She takes time to answer my questions in detail. At my prior request, she and the assistant in the room wore N95 respirator masks, which I appreciate very much. The rest of the staff that I saw were also masked, mostly with N95's. This North Duke Street facility is convenient and easy to find, with ample parking right in front."
"I've been a patient here for years but I've had enough. They don't answer the phone at all. To make an appointment, you get sent to some call center where you have to tell your gynecological problems to some apathetic man who has no idea what you are talking about. If you need anything else, be prepared to play phone tag all day because they will only let you leave a voicemail and they will call you back whenever you feel like it. If you have a job where you can't answer the phone whenever you want, you are out of luck. I almost died because they kept ignoring my preeclampsia symptoms. I ended up almost having a stroke and being hospitalized for 4 weeks. It took me harassing them for weeks telling them how high my blood pressure was to get diagnosis and treatment. Some of the staff are incredibly rude and they have worked there for years and never improved. If you manage to get in, be prepared for little to no help or feedback. I have had a medical condition for months. No one calls you back after tests unless you email them in the portal over and over. You never get any response from questions. If you are struggling with infertility, be prepared to meet a silent, blank wall."
