"I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Meade and Broadway Vet! They have cared for my 2 senior dogs for almost 8 yrs, through a cancer diagnosis, multiple surgeries, a thyroid condition, you name it. They are completely upfront about the cost of tests and procedures, and are honest about options for care. They are also kind, very quick about follow ups, and just generally so loving with my dogs. I’ve recommended them to many friends, and am also confident to recommend them to strangers on Google ha! You won’t be disappointed or “nickel-and-dimed” if you take your beloved pet to Broadway!"
"I really want to give one star because I'm so appalled at the inflexibility in this office's same day cancellation policy, but they did communicate with me that a $50 deposit was required for the appointment which became forfeit when cancelled. The reason I feel compelled to rate this business regardless is because they maintained a zero tolerance policy on the fee even after I explained some very reasonable extenuating circumstances. I scheduled the appointment in the evening for next day because I am fostering a senior pitty who developed a very bad cough after being adopted from the shelter. My regular vet (Cornwallis Road Animal Hospital) did not have appointments available, but offered to call if anything became available. They called very early the next day to offer me a 9:30 appointment, as opposed to the 1:30 appointment I had with Broadway. As this pup was looking very sick, I opted for the earlier appointment with my vet. Good thing I did! She had pneumonia and was severely dehydrated, and my vet responded with great concern and an IV of saline plus treatment plan. When I called Broadway to cancel and explain, the office manager repeatedly stated that, though they empathized, my same day cancellation meant they lost the opportunity for another paying client, thus they could not refund the deposit. While I somewhat get that.... The appointment was set EOB the day before, so did you really lose business? And is there no leniency for someone trying to care for an emergently ick dog? Overall, I have no idea of their capacity to care for animals, though their check in process was thorough, but I was exceptionally disappointed in their cancellation policy. I know running a small business is expensive, but that has turned me off from ever working with you all. I'm not sure I could trust a business that acts this way."
"Dr. Meade and her staff are so wonderful. My pup is very anxious and does not make the visit easy for them, but they are so patient and kind with her. They also made time for my pup during a very busy day for them! 100% recommend Broadway Vet! You will not be disappointed."
"A great vet. Easy to book appointments, knowledgeable staff, clear communication and expectations. The facility is clean and well maintained, my pet loved the visit. Will be back for any future veterinary needs."
"We have been coming to Broadway Vet since they opened. Dr Meade and her staff are very kind and supportive. They always communicate what they are doing and how much things cost. When our dog was sick they helped us make a very tough decision. Wonderful people."
