"Li Jie is the real deal! I've seen her three separate times for a series of appointments (including this current series) over the past ten years or so for my neck pain and shoulder pain. Recently I was given a diagnosis of degenerative disc disease, which is likely what has been going on all this time. I also had carpal tunnel flare up in both of my wrists this past year. I've seen chiropractors, physicians, DO's, etc... Li Jie is the only one that has been able to help me truly manage my pain for years at a time, and she's able to do that over the course of a mere 2-4 weeks. Acupuncture seems to be getting the credit and attention it deserves from what I've been seeing in medical studies and the media, but you still have to be careful about who you go to. I visited another "acupuncturist" a while back, before I saw Li Jie for the first time, who sat me down and tried to tell me that my "liver is angry with me" and essentially sell me on an entire care plan based on questionable research.
