"First, Dr Z is great at what she does. She is very thorough with her exams. That being said, each year I have to jump through hoops to get my eye prescription after the exam!! It is never ready at the time of service. And they always want to email you instead of giving you the paper copy!! They won’t even mail it to you unless you PAY them $5.00!! WTH?! I don’t understand that. Maybe to force customers to buy their glasses? IDK. They gave me paper copies of my contact prescriptions each year but never the eyeglass prescriptions. So why not the eye prescription. That’s bad customer service! Time to look for another eye doctor unfortunately."
"I decided to visit LUX Eye Care because I was long overdue for an eye appointment. I was extremely satisfied with the service from start to finish. The staff was professional and friendly while making you feel welcome and at home. The doctor was super friendly, relatable and knowledgeable and made me feel completely at ease. I would highly recommend that you visit LUX Eye Care to schedule your next eye appointment."
"My first experience with Lux was 5 star. They have such advanced equipment. Appointment was thorough and quick. Dr. Z and Staff were great! Was looking for any eye doctor for my mother. Just found them!"
"Friendly, informative staff. Very fast for a Dr office but we didn't feel rushed. There for an 8yr olds first visit. They put her at ease right away. Great selection of frames, too!"
"Last week was my first time at Lux. Contacts with simple prescriptions are $800/year with a rebate that was supposed to be $300. When I get called back, I was told I used the wrong rebate code. I had to clarify with whomever that I spoke with, that was the rebate code that Marlo had on my order. Then she admitted Marlo had the wrong code...jumped through hoops. And please know that a basic prescription shouldn't cost over $350 a year on the high side for disposables. Now, let me start on the glasses that have never arrived and no one knows why it's taking weeks. So, long story long, unless you have extra money to pay for contact lenses and glasses and don't mind waiting until you're deceased to receive them, then this is the place to go! Plus, you get run through like cattle. I don't feel like she was thorough and no one took any time to explain contact or glass care for a first time user."
