"The billing practices of this OFFICE is horrendous. Last fall, I visited this OFFICE four times. The first visit the receptionist accepted my $30 copay. I had three very small openings on my back. These wounds were less than 1/4 inch. I was seen by doctor less than 15 minutes. She ordered medical supplies that were sent directly to my home. Two days later I received over $700 worth of supplies. (enough to choke a horse). Long story short, I went back three more times to this OFFICE where I was seen for less than 15 minutes. I was not able to pay my $30 copay as there was a different receptionist at each visit and they did not know how to process my payment. Under my insurance benefits, I would be charged $30 for an office visit and $100 if I was seen in an outpatient hospital location. When I received my bill, I was charged $100 for each visit. I got billed for operating room services. By NO means was I treated in an operating room. It was a standard office facility. I attempted to fight these charges to no avail. Bottom line. RUN, don't walk away from this place. When I told the doctor about ALL the excess supplies I had she suggested that I bring them to this office to donate to their uninsured patients. Thankfully I was able send back to supplier for credit to my insurance plan. Once again, this is not an outpatient location. The only equipment I saw in the OFFICE I was treated in was a large light! Atrium needs to be ashamed of their billing practices. Run, don't walk from this office. Novant locations are so much better!"
"Excellent staff including physician. Very patient and explained every thing to me. Gave me information on nutrition as well. Physician was reassuring and gentle. Every staff including front desk knew about wound healing process. Able to accomate all my needs at my initial visit. I am extremely impressed with overall care!"
