"For my entire life I've had several chronic conditions which have alluded complete remission. When I moved to North Carolina nearly 20 years ago I bounce between a couple different positions never finding anyone who was able to fully understand my conditions. Luckily about 12 years ago I stumbled upon Dr Moore. He is the one physician that has truly made my life livable. He is always kind, compassionate, and understanding of my medical needs. He has taken care of myself and my family members at a level I could not have imagined. I know everyone has their own opinion and Doctor care is a truly personal experience however, Dr Steven Moore is by far the best family doctor in North Carolina."
"The only positive thing I can say is I did have a smooth appointment with my actual physician. Now here is the issue. I got blood drawn by someone who did not know what they were doing and no one is taking accountability for this. The nurse had trouble finding my vein, I am aware that this is not uncommon, but instead of asking for help like she had to do after the second attempt, she kept jamming the needle into my arm and rotating it. The needle was stuck into both of my arms to find this vein. There was no issue in my left arm but my right arm, has been in pain since I left over 8 days ago at this point. I cannot extend my arm without pain and it is painful to touch. I am pretty sure a nerve was damaged in my arm. Now, let’s get to the worse part of this whole situation. I reached out to atrium to inquire about the pain I was experiencing on their app. No one replied to my message (please keep this in mind) and I received a phone call from a nurse who advised me to ice it and take pain killers and if I was still having issues to come back. Dissatisfied with the answer I just said okay. I wanted the experience to be over and I already told myself I would never be coming here again, however I was called by an additional receptionist who asked if I was able to come in the next day (12/28) so they could view my arm and make sure everything was okay. I accepted, and I arrive today to find out my appointment was canceled (no one called or informed me of this) and I was told by the receptionist that I had been speaking to someone on the app and told me I would have to reschedule for a later time in the day. Angrily I showed the woman the messages and informed her no one replied to my messages and I had already taken time off of work to be here now. So she tells me to wait until a nurse can become available even though I already had an appointment. I am extremely frustrated but the disorder and neglect of this hospital. If I could give them no stars I would. My appointment was at 1:30 and I was told I couldn’t be seen until 3:15 after I had already taken off from work for the day instead of trying to work with me a nurse came out and argued with me which resulted in me walking out. I will be calling the state board to report this, and I will be taking any other action I can. If possible never come here."
"Dr Steven Moore, who has been my Primary Care Physician for 8-10 years now. Months ago, he relocated to this Atrium location and I just had my first visit here. It's a very clean new modernized building with a friendly front staff. I was called in within 2 minutes of my schedule appointment time, no way at all. Additionally, I highly recommend Dr Moore as a family physician, he's personable, thorough and makes you very comfortable. Many doctors are quick to get give you a prescription and move on to the next patient. Dr Moore listens thoroughly to provide the best diagnosis, plan of action or provide referrals if he feels a specialist is needed. It's rare to find a physician who sincerely cares about his patients."
"Dr Colleen goes above and beyond in each of our appointments. She really takes the time to hear my concerns and works with me diligently to find the best suited solution. Never had a doctor that cared so much for their patient and so glad I found her! The receptionists and nurses are great as well"
"As a new patient, I was impressed by how soon I was able to schedule a visit with Dr. Devine. The location was close to home. The on-line check-in was easy, and I spent a minimum time checking in with the front desk, and a very short wait to be examined. Dr. Devine spent a lot of time with me, getting the information he needed for an accurate assessment of my health. He is very friendly, and easy to talk with. By the end of the visit, I was convinced that maintaining my good health is a priority for him."
