Reviews of North Charlotte VA Clinic
"Not sure how to say it. But the VA sucks. Terrible customer service. Zero empathy. Rude, women behind every desk. And! They are very, very racist towards white people. Let it go for Christ's sake! Worst establishment in the United States. Everyone who works for the VA should be embarrassed and ashamed of themselves. But! This is the new America. Smfh. A lot of one star reviews, so I am not the only one."
"Everyone is always so nice and kind. The blood lab lady is ridiculous!!! Time for a back office job. 1/8"
"Excellent service. Jenifer Morgan was very helpful! Love my new eyeglasses!"
"BEWARE if you get a C&P exam at this location! I had a exam back on 7/31/23 and finally got my results on 9/7/23 which in itself is totally ridiculous! I was examined by a nurse practioner and things seemed to go very well. Upon receiving my C&P results, a doctor who I have no clue is, nor is he the doctor that did my exam was the author of my C&P notes and DBQ. All question within the DBQ had a "NO RESPONSE PROVIDED" answer. Upon reading further into the report it states: Please note that veteran was noted to be highly agitated during the exam on 07/31/2023. This examiner was unable to determine the cause of veteran's presentation but veteran voiced several factors to include the disability claim process, the long distance to this exam, and his perception of the VBA/VHA to recognize the severity of his lumbar spine condition and pain. Out of fairness to the veteran, this examiner recommends that veteran be scheduled for another exam with a different examiner. All I can say is the above statement is a complete LIE! The statement is so far from the truth it has my head spinning! To have a doctor that didn't even examine me complete the report and make such a statement is beyond unethical behavior by this doctor and the VA. Conduct like this within the VA is totally unacceptable and to make things worse there is no accountability for the physicians unethical behavior and it is us veterans that suffer the most after already battling the system for years!"
"I really don't think Joanne Kelly Simpson MD should be a dermatologist or doctor of any sort. She's very rude, condescending and became argumentative with me during an appointment because I was not happy with the information she gave me concerning a condition with my legs. After going to see several doctors about erythema ig abne on my legs, I went to see her at Charlotte Dermatology office in Cornelius I believe. I assumed I would get a better opinion because she is a black woman and all the other doctors I saw were white women that had never seen the condition. Well Joanne didn't seem familiar with this condition either and swore it was permanent, all she did was prescribe me bleaching cream. (As a black woman why would you prescribe another black woman some bleaching cream? Something is wrong with you. ) After listening to her talk I folded my arms and started to speak with my daughter. She jumped in my conversation to scold me about folding my arms and tried to take a jab at me for seeing several doctors about this issue. I don't care for this "doctor" at all. Bottom line is, the bleaching cream never worked, did nothing after using for six months. I actually cleared up my legs less than 3 months using a mixture of Kojic acid, tretinoin and African black soap. So the condition is not permanent, you lied and you have a terrible attitude and shouldn't treat patients like they are wasting your time."
