"I’m being gracious with 4 stars as In my mind are a couple of things that have haunted me from my experience that I forgive. We have to give honor to everyone as fellow human beings even if the persons circumstances aren’t up to OUR standard. This goes both ways. I loved the midwife’s joyful demeanor. However if you want to follow a holistic alone approach this is a great place to be. If you want any kind of pain medication or need antibiotics after the birth this isn’t a great place. Personally I was in a great deal of pain, and not given any help with it! I even had a fever of 103 and passed out after the birth. I was told to take salt. Praise God and God alone what I was experiencing went away and God healed my body and closed my womb quickly. If I didn’t have my husband to help me through I don’t know what I would have done. Child birth is unpredictable some women suffer more and some suffer less. So if you have had a hard time with your births a more holistic approach isn’t going to save you from suffering it will increase your suffering. So you trade one annoyance of a hospital birth for another annoyance. I love Lori and the assistant and respect them as people but I wouldn’t choose to use this midwifery again unfortunately."

"Lori is an amazing midwife! She assisted at my first daughter’s birth, and was the primary midwife for my two younger daughters’ births. Every birth experience I’ve had with her has been wonderful. Firstly, the pre-natal appointments are great. Each appointment was a full hour with her, and in addition to all the standard check-ups, she listened to all of my concerns and had great conversations about the baby and birth in general. Secondly, the birth experience itself is great! I was able to labor where I wanted and it was so peaceful and calm. It was just me, my husband, Lori, and her assistant. I felt heard and safe and confident the entire time with all of my babies’ births. Thirdly, Lori is amazing with her postpartum checks. She is diligent and available for any concerns and questions for both mom and baby. All in all, I had wonderful birth experiences and recommend her to all of my expecting friends and family members."

"Lori is absolutely the best midwife. With my first pregnancy I had a hospital birth, but knew Lori through family. She was super kind and answered questions I had. So obviously for my second birth I opted for a home birth using her. I went to 41+5, and she encouraged and educated me every step of the way for the healthiest possible pregnancy. She supported all of my choices and gave me an unbiased overview of all risks and benefits for each decision. She is the most kind and gentle soul and will protect your birth space with a fierceness like no other. We cannot wait to have our next child under her loving care."
