"Had an appointment to establish care scheduled that I needed to have rescheduled. Called days in advance, numerous times, and was never able to get in touch with the office. The office’s voice recording stated to leave my number and I would get a call back- never did. Leaving a voicemail was not an option. If that tells anything about their care, I feel that I’ve dodged a bullet. Will be looking for a different provider that actually answers the phone."
"I wish I had listened to the reviews as well! 10:45am appt time, left without being seen at 12:37pm. That's an hour and 52 min...."
"I wish I would’ve listened to the bad reviews and stayed away. I saw dr Schindler a year ago for the first time because she was easy to get in with compared to other drs (I know why now) and I was already behind on my annual. I went for my second visit with her. Prior to seeing her I let front desk know I would not be doing a Pap smear at this visit since my insurance is changing. They said that was fine. They called and moved my appt to the loris location which is much further from my house (major inconvenience, but I work in healthcare so I was understanding). I arrived at the office and the $100 copay was collected. I got to the back and sat in a room. Dr Schindler came in for maybe all of one minute. She said since I was not doing a Pap smear I could just come back when my insurance updated to do everything and told me I could’ve just used the my chart app to get refills instead of driving all of the way to the office. I sure would’ve liked to know that prior to driving there too. She did not do any type of exam, she did not ask me about my medical history or things we discussed at my initial visit with her. She dismissed me and rescheduled me. At checkout I asked for a refund since nothing was done and they said they could not give me a refund until charges went to billing. I called the billing department and they told me this was not true, no insurance was filed so they could have given me a refund. I waited two weeks for the manager to call me in regards to a refund. When I finally got in touch with her they told me they could refund me $10 but the one minute I had with the dr telling me she could submit refills and reschedule my appointment would cost $90. This should have been a no charge office visit considering I was not even brought to a treatment room. This entire situation was created by a lack of communication within the office. Beware of this office. Poor Bedside manner, and all about the dollar not the patient."
"Always having to wait for long periods of time before being seen. Last time I came I waited almost 2 hrs and then got told I didn't even need to be seen. Making appointments I thought were to get you in on time, seems like I have to schedule my whole day for a doctor's appointment. But the doctors are great I love my new doctor."
"UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. I went to see Dr. McCauley for an annual and to discuss my fertility. He then commented on how he was concerned because I was 35. Woman get pregnant in their 40s. Way to not add more stress to an already stressful situation. I told him I got married last year and he said “wow you really waited didn’t you”. I had another appointment where I waited 2 hours. When I was finally seen he said that I have hurry if I wanted to get my eggs counted because the nurse was leaving. Maybe she wouldn’t have been leaving if I wasn’t waiting 2 hours to be seen. I go back and he puts me on clomid. I get blood work done before and after my treatment. No one called me for 20 DAYS with results. He calls me 4pm on a Sunday (they aren’t even open on Sundays). He tells me the hormones didn’t work and my Estrodoil levels went down. He then said he can put me on a different hormone but then I would have to go to a specialist “which can be expensive”. He does not know my financial situation or what I can afford. I went on lab Corp and read the results myself and he realized he read my results WRONG. I waited 20 days for WRONG RESULTS!!! I called for 3 days to discuss these results and the receptionist wouldn’t put me on with anyone. I had to drive there to talk to someone. I will be reporting this to the medical board as well. This should be a place to support woman during their pregnancy journey but instead it was unnecessary added stress."
