"Our 11 year old miniature schnauzer, Abby, crossed over the rainbow Bridge this past Xmas eve. It would be impossible to put into words the sorrow we felt. It is only now that we can talk about her. "We moved to Wilmington this past summer and unfortunately lost our family dog and cat within the first 6 months of living here. I never thought about what would happen with my pets after they passed, nor did I have any expectations. "Monday night my dog collapsed…I called them Monday night explaining the symptoms of my sweet dog Stoic. Told me to call when on the way and they’ll immediately get us in. They rushed him back and sadly gave me a grave diagnosis and we had to send our sweet boy off the rainbow bridge. But from the front desk. To the vet techs. And Dr basil they were so amazing and helped us during one of the worst days of my life. So compassionate and caring. Even had a social worker reach out to me. And the cremation service they use are so amazing as well. Sad with outcome of my night but very pleased with this hospital. Thank you all!"
