Midtown Pawville - Pet Boarding, Grooming, Daycare, Training

"I thought long and hard about whether to leave a review and in the end I figured that the owner will want to know these things. I used Pawville for a month and everything went great at first. I would leave him for 4-6 hours, 2-3 days a week. I have a high energy pup and the pictures they sent looked great, plus he seemed to be super tired afterward. I always bring food for him and they handed it back empty every time, so I assumed he ate. After a few weeks I noticed he was whining on the way home. The second time this happened, I stopped at the park and gave him some food. He inhaled it (abnormal) and had a ton of energy, which I thought was strange if he had played all day. A few days later and I brought him in, returned four hours later and asked if they'd fed him. The person rolled their eyes at me and said yes. I went straight to the car and opened up a big container of food, which he then inhaled. They'd lied to my face. The last time I took my dog there I received a report card an hour after I left that showed him playing and having a good time. I figured everything was good. After my meetings, I came back and was told that he had been put up. I asked for how long. "An hour" "What happened?" "He was growling at other dogs" I have never seen my dog do this, ever. "When was this?" "30 minutes after you left." "So he's been put up since then?" "Well, um, yeah. He was out a couple times for a few minutes though." "So he was in a cage all day?" "Yeah." My dog is as happy go lucky as can be, but he's a dog, so I figured he'd just been a pill. But when I thought more about it I realized that this person had lied straight to my face! They also handed me an empty container of food, said he'd eaten, and when he got in the car he inhaled a large container of more food (unusual). He also couldn't get out of there fast enough. Usually I have to yank him out of there! The last straw was that when I got home he was skittish and tried to hide in the bathroom. What the heck happened?? I spoke to the manager to find out more about what happened, maybe they saw something on the cameras. Nothing. She did give me a refund for that day, which is a good gesture, and told me to email her if I'm going to make another reservation. Confusing, but OK. This place is nice, clean, and has a ton of yards. But, as a small business owner myself, I cannot abide by someone lying to me, especially when it comes to a dependent of mine who can't speak English or defend himself. As the manager said in our conversation, they need to work on their communication. Until they get this buttoned up, I can't trust them with my furry pal."

"Molly (Mollie?) does a wonderful job trimming my dog’s nails. My dog isn’t a fan of having it done, but she loves Molly because she does her best to make the experience as easy as it can be. She is patient and so kind, we specifically request her anytime we need Minerva’s nails trimmed! The daycare is great too, the staff give nice report cards and make sure all of the dogs are looked after."

"I never write reviews but I love this place so much. My dog, Duncan, gets so excited when he sees the building, he can't wait to hang with his friends. The staff does such an awesome job on the report cards, I look forward to seeing them every day! I've been to other pet boarding places and Pawville just goes above and beyond. Can't recommend it enough."

Precious plays with dogs that share her high activity level. Their boarding facility is tops. Establishment is super clean and free of any odors. High end treats and toys available in lobby.
