Upcountry Provisions Restaurant

"I love this place! Staff is so nice and tasty food comes out quickly. However, today, my Asian Chicken Salad was dry and there were no almonds or pecans on it. Also, the bar in the bathroom is at a very weird angle and handicapped people are unable to get off the toilet using the bar. I’ve never seen a bar installed at that angle. I’ve discussed this issue with 2 different managers, one female and one male, and both assured me the angle of the bar would be taken care of.These discussions were in December and January. But the bar is still in the same crazy position and it’s mid-February. Who wants to put their hands on a public toilet seat to help themselves get up?"

"We live pretty close to Upcountry Provisions so we go there quite often. The food and the customer service is amazing and is what most people are looking for. The restaurant is a bit small as well as the parking lot but that is due to the location on the corner and is no fault of Upcountry. They most certainly make the best use of the space they are working with for sure. Again, excellent food but be prepared to pay for it (monetarily) as the prices for a sandwich shop is pretty high. The last time we were there, the three of us with three sandwiches, 2 cinnamon buns, and drinks ended up paying close to $70 for brunch. However, we keep going back because the food is so good and it's a cool atmosphere in downtown T.R."

"Their food is fresh and filling comfort food from local farms, it's delicious! They also make their own bread and pastries, so scrumptious! The service was amazing and helpful, with a staff picked classic rock playlist that kept us dancing. The atmosphere is rustic and homey, but I can't wait to see the patio in full bloom!"

"Got the Central St sandwich which was pretty good, but my wife got the adult breakfast with eggs over easy. They make the eggs in some kind of round form... for sandwiches presumably. Fine I guess but over easy shouldn't be crispy. They also shouldn't taste fishy. We sent the eggs back and asked for scrambled instead. They came out again in this weird round shape (WHY?!) which resulted in a tough weird texture. The warmed bacon potatoes might be good if they weren't drowned in ranch. Probably won't be back."

"This place is a hidden gem. The food and atmosphere are incredible. We have tried the breakfast menu and lunch menu. Both have amazing options. Many vegetarian. The desserts are also super delicious. The grilled blue cheese is definitely a favorite! The staff is very friendly and kind and efficient. It's very nice to come and sit outside and feel the weather and be with the beautiful flowers, and trees. This is our favorite place in Travelers Rest. A must see if you live here, or are visiting while on vacation."
