UNC Health Urgent Care at Southeastern Health Mall

"Go in multiple times for 2 weeks and no one says nothing about a mask, go in today and all of a sudden told you have to wear a mask by someone not even wearing hers and the other girls mask not even covering her nose, can someone say hypocrite. You can't force someone to wear a mask especially when you ain't doing it yourself not everyone can wear a mask anyway...."

"Don’t waste your time or your money at this urgent care. Provider (Cynthia) & Office Manager (Tammy) are both beyond rude and lack professionalism. I went in on 11/2 with an earache & a sore throat, was given antibiotics that did not work, called the next day, antibiotics was switched but to no avail. Now 5 days later, both my ears hurt and my throat is worse. Called to ask them to switch my antibiotics but was denied and was told I needed to be seen again. First of all, I spent $75 for the first visit and almost $200 in prescriptions for me to have to ask the provider (Cynthia Clark, CRNP) what was wrong with me. I had to ask if I had an ear infection and her answer was “it looks like”. Really?!? That’s why I went to the dr to begin with….to get answers as to what was going on. I could have guessed at it. A strep test, a COVID test nor a Flu test was given. Since Tammy recommend that I be seen again, my recommendation to Tammy would be for the f/u visit to be at no charge to me. I work to hard to have to pay for such a sorry provider that couldn’t even give me a diagnosis!! She acted as if she was mute and didn’t have a clue!! Unless you have lots of money to throw at such slack providers whose best interest is NOT in their patients, or have Medicaid….don’t get sick!! Bring back the “ol school” DOCTORS that actually care about their patients and don’t mind taking the time to explain their findings or lack of. The DOCTORS that practice quality and not quantity!!"

"This urgent care is very convenient for me, and I have felt well taken care of by all four providers I have been see by. I was discharged by UNC at Chapel Hill, and was told to see an urgent care for a broken finger. I did, and was pleased with the X-ray, splint, and referral I received. I have never felt my problem was too unimportant, to be treated. So another 5 stars for knowledge and friendliness!"

"FNP Cyndi is great medical professional my experiences with her have been better than MD’s I have seen in the past. She’s straight forward and don’t candy coat anything. This lady has cared for me and my family for 29 years. I wish she was still in family practice. I will hunt her down. That’s how much trust we have with her. Me my wife and two daughters love her dearly. UNC Health is lucky to have her."
