"Dr Patel was awesome. The staff was awesome. I wish I would have got the name of the absolutely wonderful women who helped me look at glasses! I’m so glad I went here instead of going with America’s best. Nurse, doctor, and glasses specialist were thorough, patient, and kind and I didn’t feel rushed at all even though they were busy! Citizens of Monroe - stay in town for your eye care needs and visit the wonderful staff at Eye Care Center! Oh and for those like me who don’t have insurance, a complete eye exam (for glasses/prescription) is $158. You can shop for glasses in house or take your prescription elsewhere. (I will be honest here - if you are on a tight budget, you probably want to shop for glasses online) However, their glasses and lens prices aren’t unreasonable at all, but of course you can most likely find them cheaper online. That being said if you can afford it buy them in house so they can tweak them for you as needed. There is many advantages to buying your glasses there, of course. Now if you want contacts - that exam/prescription is a little over $100 on top of the $158. Don’t quote me on the contacts $ because I didn’t end up doing that but I believe that is what I was quoted on the phone when I asked. Hope this helps!"
