"Wake County Public schools... WOW!! The school board doesn't follow their own rules/laws. They put single parents out by separating children's calendars and making it impossible for them to be able to provide proper care for the children. They don't care about the family situation nor the children involved. Because of this and my sweet quiet daughter is now being forced to attend this ghetto fabulous school full of little want to be thugs fighting and torturing the good students that are there to actually learn and get an education on a traditional calendar. She's always been on year around and her little sister is on year around. Now they break their own rules/laws by separating the calendars so one child is in traditional and one year around. They don't care that I'm a working single mother and can't possibly be in 2 places at the same time 30 minutes away from each other. The laws are written for a reason and meant to be followed precisely for reasons like this. I will home school my child before WCPSS destroys her with this trash school."
"I really thought this school was best for my boys. Some of the teacher's are so awesome. The staff itself in the front office very rude. Mr Williams has his way of singling out the children instead of treating them equal. My son suffers from a mild disability. Which I made this known. He has an IEP which his case manager is aware of. He forgets and wonders off. Yet she feels it's all and acted. My boys will not be attending this school at all again next."
"It's was a horrible experience for me and my older brother. The reviews that said that east millbrook was good well it's not anymore it used to be good but it's not just drama, fights, swearing, racism, and rude mean people. That school influenced most of my friends to turn into those bad people and it's horrible.yeah education is sort of good but the children there are the worst. If you bring your child there don't whatever means transfer your child or stay away from that school.Because your child will be heartbroken with their feelings destroyed and their self esteem.Your child can become even worse with those students and it's best to do carpool because we have some strict bus drivers or don't even care what happens in the bus.Lots of fights and cursing happens in the bus so make sure to stay away from buses.Teachers can be strict and mad sometimes but they are great teachers and are humorous but it's only the 6th grade teachers that are better and nicer by a little.Yes they have great choices with electives and they say they have a IB learning school but people hardly get good grades in that school. And if you don't want your child to learn all those sexual things early do not let them go to that school. The children there will cause the newcomers from elementary to cry and break their feelings while they lose their sanity and go outburst crazy which will cause a counselor to help and they really don't help or get a consequence form the school. When fights break out students get very violent like throwing each other on the bus or at lockers kicking punching and all that but girls look more violent to me.When there is fights teachers get violent sort of like a teacher grabbed on the girls heads and yanked them apart with shirts ripped up.I knew a school officer used pepper spray on fights too seemed really bad.Whats annoying teachers don't have patience or get really annoyed so they put kids into ASD (after school detention) for no reason or give it to random kids.Plus teachers give a lot of work LIKE A LOT.Teachers always say oh i'm trying to help you are not doing your work ,BUT! they do not know what these students have to go through with these students or outside of school and it's horrible. That school made me feel like it was the underworld (aka hell) it was like the worst place to be torture with hotness bottling up inside you with sadness and anger causing depression."
"I go to East Millbrook Middle school and its not the place that everyone says it is. The school has great teachers and academics!!! To all parents and students who think its a bad environment just because of what they have heard its not just because of what happened in the past..Good luck for all the uprising 6th graders who are going to East Millbrookk for a wonderful adventure! :)"
"I go to east millbrook and I love it! i love the Arts program and the electives are really interesting. If your child loves performing arts than this school is good for them, our A/B schedule makes it easier to do homework. However gangs at this school is regular but our great principal does what he can to eliminate the problem. and fights are regular."
