Renaissance Classical Christian Academy
About the Business
Renaissance Classical Christian Academy is a school located at 6427 Cliffdale Road, Fayetteville, North Carolina, United States. Our staff is dedicated to providing personalized instruction to every student, fostering both traditional and free thought in a supportive learning environment.
In response to the shortcomings of the current education system, we prioritize teaching the fundamentals of reading, writing, and arithmetic. Our K4 program focuses on phonics and math, with an emphasis on repetition, memorization, and engaging songs. By the end of the school year, over 90 percent of our K4 students are able to read, write, and perform basic math operations.
Our school day starts at 8am with academic instruction in the morning, followed by recess and snack breaks. Students bring their own lunches and have story time before naptime. After naptime, students review lessons before preparing to leave at 3pm.
Class sizes are limited to 14 students, with an assistant teacher added when class sizes exceed ten. Our curriculum is designed to prepare students for the next stage of their education, focusing on the stages of mental development rather than chronological age.
In the Grammar stage, students focus on memorization, organization, and categorization of information in subjects such as English, math, science, and history. By the end of this stage, students have a strong foundation in these subjects and are ready to transition to the Logic stage.
In the Logic stage, students develop critical thinking skills and begin to question and analyze information in a more abstract way. The curriculum encourages students to think deeply and engage in meaningful discussions across various disciplines.
At Renaissance Classical Christian Academy, we believe in providing a comprehensive education that equips students with the tools they need to continue learning and growing throughout their lives. Our classical approach to education ensures that students are well-prepared for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

"At the time of writing, I have three kids who go here (K4, K5, and 2nd grade). I am incredibly impressed with how much they have learned in a quarter and how much more they'll learn in a year. In just 9 weeks my 4 year old has learned all the letters of the alphabet and their sounds, he has learned numbers 1-10, and he is taught kindness and respect. My 2nd grader is reading at a 4th-5th grade reading level (she has always been a quick learner) and my 5 year old learned how to read basic sentences in just 9 weeks. The high school curriculum is also astounding -- reading books like "The Wealth of Nations," "Robinson Crusoe," and "The Institutes of the Christian Religion." Moreover, the teachers are all caring and invested in each of their students. Honestly, there is no better place to send your kid academically in all of Fayetteville than RCCA."
"I love RCCA! My children are in pre-k and the teachers are so caring and committed. My children are always excited to go to school which says a lot about the school. They learn so much and the Christian influence as well as the weekly scriptures is very important to me."
"Great school. My daughter have been attending this school since she was 3 years old. There program is 2 grades ahead of public schools especially those in NC. We love the teachers and the curriculum challenges the children. Spelling B, Speech meets, debated... Preparing the children for excellence."
"We have been so thrilled and grateful with the leaps and bounds our children have grown while with RCCA. The staff, educators, and overall culture at the school is inclusive and one with expectations of excellence. I 100% recommend Renaissance Classical Christian Academy as an incredible opportunity for a private school education for your children."
"So happy we found this gem of a school. They have a great teacher to child ratio. Every member of the staff seems to be very cheery and very passionate about their job. Even in K-4, my child is being challenged with reading, kindergarten math, and memorizing Bible verses to be recited each week. Can't say enough how wonderful this year has been, and I look forward to many more with RCCA!"
