"We love this school. My son enjoys his class! The best thing we personally love about this school is the use of text books and limited use of technology in Elementary school. This is a new school , first to open K-12 grads at the same time and obviously there are some kinks that are being worked on by the administrators. Both directors (Christina and Cleveland) are awesome. Most of my interactions were with Ms Cleveland and she is great with her response and willingness to help. Carpool is still a pain but it is far better than how we started. I am confident that when the new exit is built we should have better experience. Hope kids will get a playground soon. They just have a fenced area for outdoor recess but I am sure school is working on getting slides and swings. Another recommendation to the school would be to frequently sanitize the classroom as kids are getting sick quite often. It could also be because these kids are catching up on their immunity system after the pandemic. Overall we love the school so far."

"Awesome school! Everyone is so positive and helpful. My child is loving going to school. The driveline is going to have its challenges the first few weeks of school especially being on a major highway. Anyone who left a review and does not have a child going to this school should be overlooked."

"The public schools are overpopulated and understaffed. So happy for this new school. All school carpools have issues the first week. The adjustments made by the school were working. Unfortunately before seeing those in full motion or parent’s ability to coordinate ride shares it was taken out of the schools hands."

"So far this experience has been a disaster. Organization is clearly an issue. First it was the traffic light causing school to push back two weeks with a constant changing start date. Then the traffic was unimaginable waiting 2-5 hours total for drop off and pick up to where the NCDOT had to step in and force changes. The cafeteria is still not up and running and we are receiving emails not to drop lunch to our kids if it is forgotten after school starts. If the cafeteria was up and running this would be obsolete. Take accountability for your disorganization and stop trying to put it on the parents. We are the reason your doors are open and you have funding to begin with."

"School is brand new and there are a lot of things for school to manage and adjust. I am confident that WPA has the potential to be the best school ever. Parents please be patient and think positive, give time for school to fix the challenge. You are not alone with the carpool line and please note that this is a K-12 grade school in the same building, so they have more students compared with other Charter schools. Principles, Teachers and Staff did not mind working overtime and they also worked under hot temperatures to help the cars line moving, so please think for them and appreciate their dedicated work. Instead of complaining, please give the school some applause to motivate them."
