Urgent Care of the Smokies

"What a scam. I came in to get a Covid test and was told by the nurse it would be $50 for the rapid test OR it would be cheaper if I see a doctor, it just takes some time. I decided to go the cheaper route since I had time to spare. Quick chat with the doctor and two negative tests later (flu and covid) I was sent on my way. The next week I got a bill for $406. Waaaaay more than the "cheaper" price the nurse told me. My insurance covered barely half so I owe $214 for a visit that I was told would cost less than a 1/4th of that. Frankly I feel lied to, which is a shame because the nurse and doctor were nice and helpful. I spoke with the office manager and they said there is nothing they can do. I got got :/"

"We walked in without an appointment and immediately were greeted by the friendly staff. I was quickly taken to a exam room and had a x-ray done. We were in and out in less than an hour and the price was reasonable. I would highly recommend this place."

"Hands down the best physician and best facility in Sevier County. They care. Don't just bandaid you up and send you on your way. Dr. Johns is a phenomenal physician who takes the time to listen to your health issues and develops a plan to improve your health. Absolutely would never go to anyone else but Urgent Care of the Smokies"

"I was so well taken care of here! I was visiting from Charlotte, NC and injured my toe. It was bleeding terribly and very painful. The staff got to me immediately and were both compassionate and thorough in treatment. My toe bone was shattered and required 4 stitches. Becky, Menak and the team were excellent!! In addition, the facility was immaculately clean. Highly recommend."

"I don’t normally do reviews but I couldn’t NOT do one on this clinic and the practitioner. I have never received such amazing care and service from the front desk through the entire process. The nurse practitioner Becky, forgive me her last name escapes me but hopefully she’s the only Becky because she is amazing. So knowledgeable and professional. For a walk in urgent care center the wait was brief and the care was superior. If your in the Gatlinburg area and have a need for medical attention, don’t hesitate to stop here!"
