"I liked the school, however the cafeteria foods sucks and the bathrooms are really bad. Also, the school has a weird rule about not being able to bring bags to your classes and if you ask any of the teachers why, they don't give you a reason. The lockers and locks are really damaged so if you are late to class because your locker was jammed, you still get counted tardy because quote unquote "you didn't have a pass" Overall there isn't much bullying and the students are good."
"No blatant issues with racism yet. My son is generally satisfied. Some teachers he mentions are very biased towards girls. Teachers do make lots of mistakes making tests and losing papers. The school is overloaded with students so very minimum chances of getting into a worthwhile club or getting a chance in a competition if you don't have a mentor or a peer in the school to guide you. My son takes his lunch so no complaints about cafeteria food. Although in the school orientation the staff insists that students should communicate with the teachers themselves my son's emails have NEVER been answered in the past 2 years unless I write an email from my account. Kids feel they are not heard. Bullying in the bus is a real feature!!"
"I absolutely hate it in my 5th period as there are so many bullies that are in the class I am in. They all are either discouraging, rude, or just big cyberbullies. The teachers are amazing though especially Mrs. Dumas, she is super supportive and quite funny. However, the assistant principals and the counselors are quite strict. I absolutely despise some of them as there are bullies and the principals and counselors don't do anything about it. I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 due to the great teachers. It always seems like the person getting bullied gets in trouble and the bullies get rewarded. I hate that so much! BTW I actually go here so don't think the students post only good comments and reviews about this place."
"looking back on my personal experience I met so many great teachers and leaders that helped me through middle school. 8th grade teachers know how to adequately prepare you for high school. I met so many friends and created so many memories here. They say high school makes you forget about middle school but I know I'll never forget a lit 3 years."
"The school is great. Some teachers may be strict and I personally don't like some of them, but those teachers pushes you the most which helped me become the student I am. My name is Daniel Zhong and I have been in this school for 3 years. It may be stressful, but if you try hard enough, you will become a great student from the awesome support from the teachers. I just wish the school wouldn't be so crowded ( has over 1000 students) and I wish there were more electives to pick. Now, I am an all A student thanks to all the teachers pressure on me so I deeply thank them all. You should come to this school since it is very good compared to some public schools. I hope this comment help. :) Quote learned from one of my teacher: "If you don't want to learn, no one can help you. If you want to learn, no one can ever stop you. ""
