"I have used Publix pharmacy off and on since they opened here in High Point. I've always had good service there and the prices are good. HOWEVER... I recently moved back from out of state. I have a prescription that I really need and can't go without. And they keep telling me it takes them a week to transfer a prescription. As someone who has about 10 years experience working in healthcare, I know for a fact that it does not take a week to transfer a prescription. Especially an urgent one. It literally takes one phone call. And no matter how much I've tried explaining how important this medication is to my health, this one particular pharmacy team member keeps saying it's going to take a week. All it took was one call to another pharmacy and they had the script ready within an hour. I'll be transferring all my prescriptions elsewhere because a whole week to transfer a medication, an urgently needed one at that, is completely unacceptable."
