Reviews of Grace Academy
"My son attended Grace Academy from Kindergarten through his senior year. As a parent I cannot say enough about the school, from the teachers to the administration. My son thrived in the environment and never was treated like a number. He grew academically, spiritually and personally. If I could leave more than 5 stars I would."
"My son had attended this school for only 3 weeks until the owner and the assistant principal told me that they want my son to attend another school only because he played with his pencil in class. He is 5 years and in kindergarten. It was his first school. They still didn’t care. All they want is money there. They claim to be a Christian school but how are they when they gave up on my son??!!! They were very rude too. So I pulled my son out of that horrible school that day!! He was crying and so sad when I told him. I also think they were displaying discrimination against my child because the other kids would get up in class and they still there. My son is very smart. He started reading at 2 years old. So for them to see how advanced he is but want to be mad about a pencil in just week 3. For it to be a private school and Christian school I expected more from them!!! As educators they supposed to take their time, which they didn't.I know many public schools that take more time with the students for free. And the money I was paying them it's crazy for them to do that. Now I had to take more time to find him another private school. Plus just to see my son cry was the most horrible thing I had to see. I will be reporting them to the board of education too and contacting a lawyer too!!! By the way the review from Kelly Queen is the woman that works there in financial aid. She trying to make the school look good. Most of the reviews are from employees."
"Grace Academy is an all around wonderful school! Very strong academics combined with teachers and staff that honestly care about all of the students. The environment is very clean and decorated nicely. The halls are always full of lovely artwork from the talented students! Very loving Christ centered school. I have 4 children enrolled at Grace and all 4 love it!!!"
"We have been at Grace Academy for three years now. Both of our kids (rising 1st and risign 4th) love their school. They have thrived in a smaller class setting. The teachers at Grace really love their students and love what they teach. Teachers here get to choose the subjects they teach which really helps them choose the subjects they love, and it shows. Our daughter has a medical need and the staff has always done an excellent job taking care of her. We have developed an amazing commnity of friends here that share our values and faith. We couldn't be happier with our experience over the last three years."
"I am a graduate of Grace Academy. I enjoyed some of the teachers, and loved the university model, but that’s about all of the positive things I can say about my experience. I do not feel like Grace Academy prepared me for college, and I only attended community college after high school. The curriculum was not challenging, I was assigned very little homework and we almost never wrote papers. I would not recommend Grace Academy and I would not send my own children to this school."
