"Dr. McFarland is the best and most caring physician I have ever seen in an ER. I went to Urgent Care yesterday in Weaverville and the PA I saw recommended go on to ER now so my nephew drove me to your hospital in Erwin, TN. Dr. McFarland's bedside manner is marvelous, ditto for the male nurse(did not get his name) and your young nurse intern. These 3 are a fabulous team and made me feel safe and secure that they cared about me as an individual and not just another diagnosis walking in to the ER. I will highly recommend your hospital to all of my friends and people I know in the Asheville/Weaverville area as people over here refuse to go to any hospital in this area for anything. "Very efficient and was able to wait in my car until a room was ready. In-take assistant was very nice but not very knowledgeable medically. Glad to have a swab test for Covid/RSV/flu. The NP was very helpful and gave me antibiotics for my sinus infection to try to stay within the parameters of upcoming hip replacement surgery. I’d certainly use Mercy again. Thanks!"
"Had a great experience this morning at Mercy. The PA, Katy, was super thorough and provided swift yet excellent care- as an urgent care physician should. Urgent care can feel dismissive and uncomfortable because, as a patient, you are seeing someone who knows nothing about your medical history. But, Katy and her medic, Meg, made this visit feel welcoming and friendly! Truly the best urgent care experience I have ever had."
"We’ve been waiting here for two hours total. We waited in the small gross waiting area for about and hour and a half and now we’re waiting in the exam room. I think they forgot about us in here. This place is pretty creepy and gross and it gives me a weird feeling. I do not recommend."
"Every time I’ve been to this urgent care, I’ve waited well over an hour, even with an appointment. This time, we’ve been here for an hour and forty five minutes and still have not been seen . The staff are nice and professional, but the wait is just too long. Also, it’s kinda creepy here."
