"This salon has bad customer service! I’ve been coming here for three years with no issues until now. I had gone to receive a sleek ponytail and two days later the ponytail had unraveled. When I went back up there and told them what happened, they charged me again in order to fix. They didn’t even apologize for their mistake and since they’re a beauty school they don’t offer refunds. I won’t be coming back here anytime soon."

"Sent my daughter to The Dooby School and got the best hairstyle that she’s ever had! These students know what they’re doing and provide hairstyles for half price because they’re still in school. This is a steal! So I had to tip the stylist good!!"

"It was a disappointing and painful dealing with Ms. Julie. Once she was told that I wanted cornrows and a protein treatment, she said she didn't know how to do cornrows. She had to be reminded that she knew how to do cornrows. So, it started out badly. She didn't bother to examine or comb my hair, immediately she took me to the wash area. The water was extremely hot, I had to inform her it was too hot. After she put the protein treatment in, she preceded to walked me to the dryer area. The instructor did stop us to ask if she had combed my hair...it was very obvious she didn't comb my hair at all. After I was removed from the dryer, she took me back to the wash area. She didn't bother to put a cape on me, I had to ask her to give me a cape. She did splash water on me. Twice the instructor had to tell her to put me under the steamer before she finally did what the instructor told her to do. I did send a letter to the owner. I'm still waiting for her to reply."

"BABYYYYY!!! When I say you will get TOP TIER service at the Dooby Shop School of Cosmetology!!!! I got a roller set, and she shampooed me so good I fell asleep! Put conditioner on my hair and massaged my scalp to activate the conditioner. And the roller set was so perfect that all I had to do was tease with my fingers. Body for days, yall!!! Anyone being trained here will be a top-notch stylist and understand hair care, which these days is hard to find."
