"Was there on October 19 2023. Asked Charlotte if the prices were correct. She totally flipped out and goes on a speech of how she doesn't like to repeat herself. She said, "learn to listen or get out" these were her exact words. Was also told she is the manager so no need to complain to anyone else. This was just such a nasty and rude person. Holden beach isn't worth that behavior."

"The woman working was extremely rude. She's been there for years and it's usually rough purchasing things from her. But this Labor Day I put everything I was planning on purchasing back and walked out because I didn't want anymore interaction with her and felt like it would be wrong to support the business when she went above and beyond to be rude. We went into Beachmart after and ran into other customers that had been in Salt Peddler with us and they approached, saying they had the same experience."

"ETA: please note all the BOUGHT 5 star reviews 2 weeks ago from this date, absolutely trash business. The woman working the register was absolutely horrible. I cannot believe the way she treated a customer. A mother came back into the store with her kid after checking out in front of me, and when she walked back in the employee rolled her eyes. I let the customer in front of me and the employee said “just grab whatever it is to exchange” the customer explained the charged price on the receipt did not match the tagged price. The employee SNATCHED the receipt, and said “FOR GODS SAKES” and slammed open the register, and basically threw the difference in cash at the customer. I was literally speechless. I have never witnessed such ugly behavior. I will not be shopping here ever again, and I will make sure to take this encounter as public as I can, this business should be closed. To the horrible woman, shame on you. People are bringing their hard earned money to you, so to either attempt to steal it, or treat people like trash for kindly approaching you about a mistake is disgusting. Shame on you."
