"Directed by my employer to this facility after an OTJ injury, I read the reviews here. I didn't have very high hopes after reading several disparaging remarks by others. However, my encounter was nothing like any of the 1 star reviews. The lady at the window, the nurse taking vitals and recording my medical details... all very professional, very courteous and genuinely kind and responsive to my questions, needs and care. There was a volume of patients being seen, so, I waited for my turn, the same as those ahead of me. Enter Wendy Shumate. She took the time and listened to me. We discussed the nature of the injury and prescribed further diagnostics and appropriate prescriptions for what I was dealing with. We discussed what I need to do as a patient to expedite recovery and modifications I should employ at work to help facilitate that. Lastly, she gave detail on what steps need to happen next in dealing with the workers comp claim. Very clear. Very caring and knowledgeable. These people who gave low opinion scores online were clearly sour grapes and should consider the impacts of weaponizing their words. I am not a paid actor, just a guy trying to deal with a medical issue. When I found the conditions at this facility to be greatly in contrast to the low score opinions, I felt compelled to share my experience. If you are on the fence on whether or not to seek care at this facility, I will close here by saying I would certainly return here if the need be. Be weary of one star reviews. They often don't conform to reality."
