"Dr. Lipscomb is nice enough and will help you with any educated basic needs. He won’t, however, be useful with anything out of the norm, nor will he do his due diligence to rule anything out other than with very basic practices and tests. He is the status quo. After testing me with 15/20 vision and I telling him letters jump a bit making it hard for me to read subtitles easily.. he proceeded to tell me that my vision is going and that maybe I should pick up glasses over the counter and see if that helps. Lazy answer. I proceeded to advocate for myself, with no success. Well, he didn’t make a difference for this one, maybe somebody else’s issue will get more engagement from him. Good luck. Office is very nice and so is everyone I met!"

"UPDATE 12/18/2023 I still have not received a response from GRAYSTONE. UPDATE 9/18/2023 GRAYSTONE requested my contact information to discuss this situation. I sent it to them on 8/14/2023. As of 9/18/2023 no one from GRAYSTONE has contacted me! YOU DECIDE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE ATTENTIVENESS! ORIGINAL POST 8/5/2023 I purchased a pair of bifocal, transition, plastic lenses with a metal frame on August 4, 2021. By the spring of 2022, I noticed the blue color on my metal frames was peeling off exposing the silver color underneath. I took them to the Boone optical dept. and spoke with Kathy Issacs. She told me the warranty for the frame had expired. I asked to speak with her supervisor. Lee Dunlap set up a time for me to come in and show him the frames. He agreed to replace the frame but use my same lenses. On July 11, 2022, I went to the optical dept and Mr Dunlap switched out my frames. Apparently the coating on the original frame was defected because as of today the blue is still on the frame. By February 22, 2023, my lenses started to experience stress cracks - 3 of them. I went back to the optical dept and spoke with Kathy Issacs. She told me the lenses had been tightened too much causing the cracks. She loosened the screws. Ms Issacs said they wouldn’t replace the lenses even though she admitted it was their fault, the lenses were out of warranty. I did speak with Mr Dunlap about the situation on the phone. He said they would give me 50% off the lenses and the frames until the end of the year. My prescription had expired so I would need to be re-examined before purchasing a new pair. On April 26, 2023 I visited the optical dept to see about replacing the glasses. Ms Issacs told me “glasses only last 1 YEAR” and “I needed to purchase glasses EVERY YEAR!” I originally paid $279 for my lenses and frames. With my 50% off discount a replacement pair was approximately $300. SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS!!!!!! As of August 5, 2023, 2 years after purchasing a new pair of glasses this is what you can expect from GRAYSTONE OPTICAL BOONE! YOU DECIDE!"

"Just sat in the waiting room patiently for 15 minutes on glasses after speaking with the sales lady. I had one pair of glasses that I wanted to buy. When the lady finished the previous order, she quickly asked a person who came in after I did if she was ready with her 8 pairs of glasses to look at.
