Reviews of Lollipop Child Development Center
"The owner and her supporters are FAKE! My child’s desire to go to school has been stripped away. My child had come home with several bruises and was only enrolled in the school for one month. I reached out to supporting staff about my concerns. When the assistant director dismissed my concerns followed by laughter. I requested to speak with the owner going forward because I did not find my child being harmed leading to bruising and broken skin to be a laughing matter. Of course the next day the owner was aware of my concerns. Accused me of being paranoid and other degrading things. She suggested that I withdraw my child because our relationship would not work. I ignored her insults and requested to view the camera recordings in the center. I watched video footage of room 3 where my daughter was being abused mistreated and neglected by staff and shockingly the owner as well. She was aiding teacher and staff to cover up. But all that changed when she saw my reaction to the classroom camera footage. Her staff who would never do such things or any harm- quickly changed to the owner apologizing to me and stating maybe the teacher is stressing- lollipop at the time was low staff and could have been the result to her being overworked. The owner, teacher and supporting staff all had a choice to make and they decided that my child and my concerns weren’t worth while. The recording appears to show teacher forcefully grabbing my child, hovering over my child out of camera view, aggressive verbal cues, slamming my child into chair, pushing my child’s legs and pinching her legs. After all the abuse done by the teacher my child’s food fall to the floor. My anxiety and wariness will not allow me to bring my daughter back through lollipops doors, nor could I in good conscious recommend anyone to utilize a childcare facility where the owner and staff can so casually and carelessly put children at risk."
"My son just started this year at Lollipop CDC for the NC Prek program and he goes to after school with the daycare ! They are the best they are sweet and caring and very attentive to there kids and students they have a very good protocol with keeping social distance and hand washing and sanatizing during these trying times my son never has a complain and loves it there I deffanatly would recommend this facility 100% great job !! ☺️❤️"
"Both my son (2 years old) and daughter(4 months old) go there. I had previously taken my son to 2 other daycares so my initial thought of bringing him here was skeptical. But this Daycare is incredible, the staff is knowledgeable, friendly, caring, and creative. They take such good care of all the children that attend the daycare in my opinion and even though my children started during the pandemic they have been taking every precaution to ensure the safety of the children. There isn’t enough words to describe how wonderful I think this facility is just know if you’re bringing/enrolling your child/ren there you’re making the best choice for them."
"5 stars from the time you walk in. The staff are so welcoming. I have 2 children enrolled at this center. The infant room is wonderful. All of the teachers are great. My daughter loves Mrs. Ellie. Much better than other day cares around this area. We will be here for a long time!"
"Lollipop Child Development Center is one of SW CLT's best assets! We have been there for Pre-K and now for before school care where we catch the bus to school. The teachers and administration are wonderful, caring, and kind. Highly recommend!"
