"My son participated in the summer reading program through Longleaf Academy. My biggest complaint was we never received any feedback. We were told there would be a report at the end, but it was never emailed as promised. We paid a substantial fee to have him participate in a course that guarantees 30% improvement in reading. Well given I never saw any test results or report of his progress I am not sure how this was calculated. I was in touch with the director who was not very helpful and very unaccommodating. The only email I received about my son was his goals and they were sent to me at the end of the course. This may just be an organization problem, however, I would recommend seeking out other programs."
