"Very pleased to get both my children out of public schools around here. Advanced children are held back to the lowest standard in public schools and ESL halts progress for many students. Bullying was a daily thing that was not addressed unless you were persistent or dealt with the bullies parents yourself. Union prep is a breath of fresh air. Teachers seem to care about their students and engage them during class. In addition, the uniform policy helps to negate the possibility of children being distracted by fad or trend wear. Only downside is drop off and pick up, with no busses running it conflicts with work schedules daily but made to work with two parents splitting the task. Well done UPA."

"This is our third year in a row, and I worked at UPA, know it from inside. Can’t say it’s good or bad in one word, there are a lot of issues. It’s hard to explain what pressure they have for some students and teachers. Most of the teachers are nice with students and staff, some aren’t, and it’s life. But the most important aware some teachers who can lie, because I met one, and couldn’t believe it happened, and many people from staff know it and didn’t do anything."

"My son attended public school for kindergarten and 1st grade until we were accepted into union prep for 2nd grade. BEST DECISION EVER. The teachers are amazing. I watched him go from 2 levels under his grade to meeting grade levels and above. The fact that they offer math & reading tutoring at no cost is exceptional. Love how teachers are always get back with you .. they share their thoughts on how to improve your child’s learning. Amazing. UPDATE: 3/3/22 My daughter now attends Kindergarten and my son is in 6th grade. I still stand by my review, UPA is amazing."
