Allen Residence Hall, located at 617 Central Drive in Cullowhee, North Carolina, is a historic institution named in honor of Levern Hamlin Allen, the first African-American student at Western Carolina College. The hall, opened on August 16, 2019, is home to 614 students of all classifications, including freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students. With seven floors, an elevator, and air conditioning, Allen Residence Hall offers double occupancy rooms with en suite bathrooms, as well as private rooms adjoined by a bathroom.
