"This place is a dumpster to sum it all up. If you are looking for a place to send your child you should look elsewhere. For starters, while most of the teachers are great and love to help students there is a major problem. The principle Tonya Robinson is ruining the school. She has come up with a schedule that is very effective in wasting 30 minutes of each school day while sucking all of the fun out of the school day. Since she has become the principal there has been an evident decrease in the quality of the school. She had the French department (the only one in Buncombe County) let go despite the students that have already invested multiple years into it. After her first year, she decided that she knew best and would overhaul the system that most students were comfortable with and were able to get work done with. Most of the problems come from flawed issues from the system and one of the most prominent issues is the leadership skills of Tanya Robinson."
"I would give zero stars if I could. This photo was made by a few students there and was eventually reported to the administrators. When given the names and needed information to the school administrators, We were told that there was absolutely nothing they could do about it and that things like this happen in the area (Candler). This school is nothing, filled with racist bigots and is ran by a horrible principle named TONYA ROBINSON! And yes I would know because I was a fellow student at this hell hole and will NEVER EVER come back. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!"
"The FitnessGram Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly, but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal. [beep] A single lap should be completed each time you hear this sound. [ding] Remember to run in a straight line, and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark, get ready, start."
"This high school gave me crippling depression. When Tonya Robinson revoked smart lunch it destroyed my last hope for this school. This schools quality of education is like our football teams record, 2/10."
"The students' experience at enka high school has been a painful one. The slight enjoyment that students once had for enka has slowly died along with the dream of smart lunch. If you are considering sending your child to military school then this is a great cheap alternative."
