"Last Christmas time our 12 year son experienced Christmas in the Keys and had a WONDERFUL time. The counselors were great with him. Being a kid with ADHD and anxiety camps are a challenge normally. This summer he experienced the camp in Wyoming. First off, all I can say just from the description alone it made me jealous and I wanted to go. He had an AMAZING time! The counselors were wonderful! It was great after the camp to get a report on how he did. He learned how to be independent and some ways to try to stay focused and organized. He is already looking to go back! SOAR team has been amazing to work with and you can tell they truly care about the kids. It is great knowing we can give our kids these sort of adventures in a loving and accepting place."

"This camp was absolutely life changing for my 11 year old son. He came home from a 10 day camping adventure in the Keys more confident, independent and overall happier in general. "Our daughter goes to SOAR camp every summer. Balsam Base Camp has become her “happy place.” She loves all the counselors. It is wonderful for her to see some familiar faces and new ones every year. She even bumps into campers she has known in previous years some times. The activities are well-paced and enjoyable. She did an academic enrichment this year and even was happy with that. It is super special for her to spend time as an independent person with people who understand her and make her feel like she belongs. I wish this experience for every kid with ADHD."
