Reviews of Ballad Health - Hospitots Daycare
"My daughter attended this daycare for about 6 months and to tell you the truth this isn't going to be a positive review so if you don't want to hear the truth then keep scrolling.... First I would like to start out saying that my child's main teacher was never an issue for me. To be blunt I will be very specific. AMY was the problem the entire time and let me add the fact that she started working at this child care center shortly after my daughter started going to this daycare. My child was fine until she started coming home saying that Miss Amy was calling her stupid that Miss Amy was being mean to her all the time that Miss Amy would give other kids popsicles and wouldn't give her one that Miss Amy would take the shoe strings out of her shoes and just do anything she could just to bully my child. I just don't understand why an adult would literally get out of character and act like a child herself. Call me rude I just call it being real. I went to the director twice about Amy. I was even told not only by one teacher but multiple teachers that there were many complaints about Amy and that I was not the only parent that was giving negative feedback on how she was treating children. Whenever I spoke with the director about the things that my child was coming home and telling me she had a talk with Amy and the next day I got stared down consistently anytime I would walk into the building I could feel the tension in the air and to no Surprise she would retaliate against my child. The inappropriate Acts of this teacher continued and only became worse as she decided to "write up" my child for something that I come to find out she didn't even do. I also spoke with the director about this. I have worked in child care myself in the past as a teacher as a cook and anything you can think of for most of my child's life so there is not anything that you can tell me that I don't already have in the back of my head. So to walk around thinking that you're Miss Queen Sheba as if you are the principal or as if you are a prison guard you have really lost it. It is a daycare it is not a real school it is not even a school it is a daycare and you are not even a teacher you are a babysitter in my book. Whenever you try to avoid conflict that doesn't really do any good because then they just take it out on your child. I guess she didn't think that my child was smart enough to tell me the things that were being said but I tried to keep my composure as I needed my child in daycare as I do work. To bite my tongue was the hardest thing I ever had to do I'm so glad that my child is not even in daycare anymore and that we have ventured on to bigger and better things and I felt this would be a good time to give this place a review and the fact that I have noticed a huge drastic difference in my child's behavior since starting school. There are multiple things that went on as far as kids being extremely mean not keeping their hands to theirselves not getting the correct disciplinary action for their actions, I do understand that they are little kids however do not punish my child and not punish the one who started it because I do not believe in bullying and I do not promote it however I do promote self-defense but whenever my child would defend herself she would be the one sitting in time out or doing without a popsicle in 100° Sun and having to deal with crackers instead. Absolutely not. None of the other staff gave me any issues. However, if you choose to place your child in this daycare center please be aware that Amy will be your next problem. The end."
"Amber Markin, one of the teachers, is a blessing and a hard working individual."
