"The summer-camp is amazing! the corn maze is peak! !i do not know about the other programs!"
"Weekend fun was a okay but the staff is absolutely rude and ornery. I came on Monday night to just walk in the fields and around with my two children , and this large, dark skinned women came out with the upmost attitude directing us to leave. I asked her if we could simply walk around the open area because I drove all this way with my two kids under two to just have a nice change of scenery for our nighttime walk and she rudely declined. Then continued to bring out a security guard because I was getting my kids back in the vehicle and called my God mom to tell her what was going on. I’ve been going here for eight years and after tonight I will no longer be donating or having any part of this establishment."
"Providing child care for our family for generations. My grandmother was an orphan there. I visited many yard sales and corn mazes before other family members began employment there. My kids have been enrolled there for years now and the staff is more than accommodating. Some staff treat us like family. What Eliada offers and has offered for 100+ years in Western North Carolina can not be beat or replaced."
"If you want your child to heal and grow do not send them here. They don't seperate kids by severity or agression so there was a a house full of kids who wanted to die and then a few kids who were so horribly psychotic and agressive that we eneded up locked in our rooms for more than half the time. My ONLY positive memory is when we actually got to see the horses they were wonderful and I still remember several of them. What sticks with far more however, is the horrific things I witnessed staff doing as well as almost dying of a kidney infection because they decided I was faking a 103 fever and refusing to take me to the hospital until I was so delusional with fever I could barely walk. The kidney infection developed because no staff took my UTI pain complaints seriously and it developed into a kidney infection."
"This place has been a God send for my son! I’m so thankful for everyone who works here. The staff is so kind and attentive. They really go the extra mile to help ensure the best outcome. I honestly don’t know what I would have done if a place like this did not exist to help my son. He has learned so many valuable life skills during his stay here. I’ve really seen a major change in him for the better. Thank you Eliada!"
