"As our time at BOI comes to a close -- with our daughter getting ready to start Kindergarten -- I want to share our experience with Terri, Lucy, and the rest of the BOI staff. I cannot say enough about how happy we have been over the last couple of years sending our daughter here. She is more than prepared to start Kindergarten in a few weeks. In addition to their excellent Kindergarten prep, their focus on global citizenship and developing our children into well-rounded humans is so remarkable and difficult to find with other childcare facilities in this price range. They somehow manage to make their program both high-quality and affordable/accessible to families in the Burlington and surrounding areas. I never doubted that my daughter was in good hands and that she wasn't being cared for and nurtured here while she was away from us. If I could give BOI ten stars, I would!! Thank you, BOI, for all you have done for our kiddo and family. We have appreciated sharing the last couple of years with you."
"I would not recommend this place, I paid an additional $100 on top of the weekly fee, on day 3 my son was sick, EXTREMELY sick. He came home with a temp of 103 and nauseous. I didn’t even get a phone call informing me that he was sick. When I got there to pick him up he wasn’t coming straight out to me, it was like he was hesitant and unlike himself, so while I’m waiting on him to come through the doors a lady came out asking me to sign a paper. So I’m guessing this paper was the contract Terri mentioned when I asked for my money back.I just signed and honestly wasn’t paying attention, because my attention was on my son. My son was sick for about 2 weeks, He told me he didn’t want to go back to that school. Mind you if you’re one of my 100k plus followers, you know we don’t get sick and you guys saw in real time him sick from this daycare. I asked for my refund and was told I couldn’t get it because I signed a contract. And so the additional $100 I paid for activities he didn’t use they kept that also along with 3 additional days he didn’t use. I also noticed he was being fed dairy and meat after I advised we don’t eat that, and once I stated that the teacher replied he was having a hard time going down for a nap, as if to deflect from them giving him what I asked them not to. So my question was, was it hard for him to lay still after you gave him dairy and meat that he’s NEVER eaten in his life. The greed and having no morals and Ethics is what truly bothered me. I spoke with Terri after everything in regards to my refund and she still decided to keep it. I do not recommend this place. I lost time from working, gained a doctors bill and not to mention the discomfort my son had to experience, all that and they saw fit to keep my money. These type of places you have to watch out for."
"I have been with Bridging Oceans since my son was 17 months and he is now almost 3.5 years old. I now have another 17m old who attends who is learning a ton. I fell in love with the curriculum they offer along with other opportunities to learn via yoga, music, and wild tails. As a speech pathologist, I have had my fare share of visiting daycares to treat children so when it came to my own I knew what I was looking for. Bridging Oceans has cultivated opportunities for my children to learn and be exposed to different cultures and environments from learning about various countries to trying new foods each week. I have been pleased since attending. I also love having access to the brightwheel app to let me know how my kids are doing. This place is great."
"If I could give them 10 stars I would! My son is in the America classroom (18+ months) and he runs into school each day with a big smile on his face. He is always clean and happy when we pick him up. They do a variety of activities throughout each day and send pictures and videos of him participating. They serve a variety of foods that he seems to enjoy and not just the boring kid fare you find in most daycares. We are so blessed to have Bridging Oceans!"
